Problem with sending PMs

Post by zsoltbartok »

What am I doing wrong? I wish to send a private message I get a general error message wich states that there's a problem in line 1 of the message (or at least something like that, I can't remember the exact text).

I can compose the message without problems but when I press 'submit' the error message appears. I don't know what to do, so can you please help me?

I haven't noticed any problems with sending PMs, are you using non-standard characters?

I'm sure you want to write something using some specific Hungary letters. Is it so? If yes, the problem is with forum, not with you. I have the same when try to write something in Ukrainian.

I suppose you were using some special characters, and although I've set mySQL to utf8 coding, somehow it still doesn't like some characters (like long ö, long ü, etc.). Apologies for the inconvenience... ;)

Thank you, I'll try to avoid using those letters! I was indeed writing in Hungarian (to DXTR).
