I've noticed that something has changed with user rights. Now it's possible to download attachments without being logged in. Was it supposed to be?

Yes, we've change the user rights at the download section thinking that it might lower the doorstep in getting hooked in GR.

A very good prospect, even though I have doubts that there might be some mod theft (read: stealing), but maybe it's just me.

Well, if 1 (and a half) years ago it would be possible to download tracks, cars etc. I (possibly) never had signed up here.

and Trigger Happy would be Commentator of 2014.

But nevermind, this is still a great change, so that everybody can download the attachments.

With a game like this, I doubt you'll have to worry about it too much. Where else would anyone post a stolen mod that would get much traffic, anyway? This is basically the only place for GR mods except for a few personal sites.
