Maybe it's not about forum, but...

At last days I saw many messages on my e-mail inbox, sent from addresses used on this forum for competitions (GRMFED, Ivaneurope, etc.), with the same title and content.

Not sure if anybody else has the same "problem", but I know one thing - you're not sending these messages, it's spam. But how it's possible?

If a virus stole a contact list of anyone of many active GR playres, it can use it to send messages with frauded "from". Or simply a bot could scan threads here to find adresses, mail adresses are there in many signup posts in beginings of compo threads. BTW I haven't notice such increase of spam messages in my private mail boxes.

Well, I didn't have such problem. Mainly because I never posted my email open in the forum. I only told it via PM to compo makers or guys I work together on the forum (f.e. Frukis or Zgr).

Also I didn't get Spam from GR emails.

I think ivaneurope's E-mail-account may have gotten hacked, at least I received two messages from "Ivo GRMFED <ivaneurope at mail dot bg>", so you're not alone.
But I guess there's nothing you could do about it

Is not fold this forum. I get spam mail from Ivan to my account which I sent TouringCup saves, but other than my register mail.
