What hobbies you guys have?

I like to go and play ice hockey in winter and in summer time I go mountain biking.

I play Korfbal, and spend my spare time recording/trading motorsport races on DVD. Great hobby!

Oh, and I do enjoy cycling/walking/running. My dream is to do a marathon, which I hope to do in 2011.

Well, Korfbal isn't really well-known worldwide. It is quite popular in Holland and Belgium though.

This is what I have: http://home.planet.nl/~sche0686/races.xls (around 4TB in total)

I actually study at the Faculty of sports in Ljubljana (Slovenia). My favourite are probably volleyball, football and perhaps floor gymnastics, then in no special order all other sports. :trampo:

Doh, am a bit lazy these days... so my sports is reduced to watching F1 and soccer. Then I do some "sports" with the Nindeno Wii :D (Sports resort, Tennis, etc....)
In summer time outside or with some buddies in a hall I like to play Badminton

I cycle in the forest every summer. I go 5 and 7 km routes as fast as I can and on the biggest gear. This way even 5km is sometimes enough, since there are some really tough slopes. I have also been thinking about playing tennis again, but there's no one to play with me. :(

I like to watch motorsports. I follow F1 actively, BTCC semi-actively, some races of Nascar, WTCC every now and then and something something. I try to follow the bigger events too, like the Olympics, but it is pretty hard to follow them in my room since no TV channels can be seen in my room.(The signal of the antenna is so weak that it can't send enough of data to my room...) And obviously the computer screen is filled with something else all the time so I wouldn't watch the actual sports at all.

BTW Sutinen and 1nsane. What bikes you guys have? I have Focus Black Forest. I think it's 2004 or 2005 model. But my front suspensions right side is leaking very bad. :(

I have a crap full-suspension low-priced montana MXM. I have modified its suspension. I cutted old honda suspension with angle grider, and softened front suspension by some old suspension I found from my garage. Shifts just sucks a*s, Ill have to change the shifts and the center (was that correct english? I meant keskiö.)
Ill maybe get a quality mountain bike like scott or then Ill by a DH bike.

The longest I did last summer was 25km in the forest, going around the 5km route, so I had to get up. The routes got longer otherwise too during the last summer since I did 5km twice and 7km twice, then some days I added some other roads to the normal route.

So this summer I'm aiming for doing the 7km 4 times. That will be pretty hard because the 7km route is at the same time the hardest one of them all. It is a constant uphill sequence, which is then used in one quick drop. So if I did this 4x7, there would be 12 very hard hills and then the constant uphill of the 7km. The reason why these 12 steeps hills are especially hard for me is the fact that my back just can't handle the stress well enough.

I have tried to get a good photo of the hills but they are so steep that you can't figure it out from the pictures.

Oh yeah, and this summer I'm also planning to finally use the road between Hyvinkää and Riihimäki. It is about 20km to one direction. (From my home to my school anyways) I think I have to wait a while before I can use the road since it has gotten some pretty large, deep and dangerous cracks on the asphalt and I don't want to go over those with the speed I'm going to use.

The bike is... Something... Nothing too special to be mentioned. :P

Oh yeah I forgot:
Last summer I was cycling over 70km in about 2-3 hours. I went to my summer cottage with my father and brother. We could cycle faster, but we just kept calm speed. In the next day at 9 'o clock we went home. It was fun. :D

In my early years, I raced a season or 2 of a local karting championship, I even won a race under A LOT of rain with a very low-powered kart, that's my only "real" win (at age 13, I won a slot rally of the Spanish U-16 championship)
I used to do enduro with a 85cc bike for fun till I was 16 but I have been unactive for 2 years :( . I also used to do mountain bike for fun but I quit when I found that none of my friends wanted to go with me (they said I was way too fast).

If you're on a road, 28kph is quite calm. 28kph on real mountain biking (hills and tough trails) is CRAZY. When I was 16 (a couple of years ago), I used to keep average speeds of about 20-25kph for 2 hours or so. I should have entered some competitions but my parents thought I had no future :( . Now I'm not that fit and I cannot keep 20kph for an hour.
A little bit early, when I was 14, I even tested track cycling, people said I was pretty fast, specially on time trials under 15km (about 60 freaking laps) but my parents said no :weep: .
