I've devised a plan just in case the new solution to the Mustang chipping problem happens again. Back to tried and tested plastic... ;)

Never understood why 300Cs never made an impact on the quarter mile. They move pretty quick with a few mods, despite weighing similar to the Chrysler Building and the aerodynamics of a block of semi-detached houses...

A step back in time to see the first 300C (in a not so subtle paint scheme) in action. It was good for using up dead tyres and motors in a dramatic fashion...

Exactly as I said, patience was no longer there for it. My floor is concrete for a reason.

Had a bit of a win today as my '41 Willys project was completed after 5 days of solid work on it. Very pleased with it, but it still requires a front mounted fuel tank to finish it off properly.

Drives OK on the track, pulls a mean wheelstand thanks to the drop arm on the Midori chassis. :D

Video of the car during it's test run. Remember this track is 4 volts short of the drag track, so it could be even wilder...

Just purchased a second-hand TT-01E car. The Wataru Kobayakawa Porsche GT3-R. Note I stressed the Wataru part of the name (just clearing up any misunderstanding with all the weird otaku people who probably nearly just wet themselves... ;) ).

Just got a new fish tank

Post by Martyn »

I have recently bought a small fish tank but I'm having a problem with green water. I know it's caused by algae but so many sites offer different ways to solve it that contradict each other.

Anyone here with a fish tank had the same problem?
Hannu, who art in Finland, Räbinä be thy name. Sim racers come, races are won, at Agari, as at Xupong. Give us this day our version 1.06, and forgive us all our impatience, as we race those who challenge against us. Lead us not into boredom, but deliver us from work. I've used:
In easier cases:

In more severe:

But is the water itself green, or the glass?

The water itself is green, I thououghly cleaned everything before setting up the tank. There's even a brand new filter in there

This is a Class 158, now numbering 6 sets of 2 cars in 3 different colour schemes. This was the original release version and my personal favourite.

Studying & composing music & writing poems is my main thing. I wouldn't call it a hobby, since I don't put only my free time into it. It's more like a non profitable occupation for me. I study near-eastern modal traditions and practice a collection of 10-15 insruments varying from guitar/base (and other local "bouzouki-like") to lyras (spike fiddle) flutes (classical & traditional) & percussion.
I've published a book and an album
Obviously GeneRally is a major hobby :D
I do rc racing for the past 20 years (but with large intermitions in between). Been through 1/10-1/12 electric & 1/5 gas :yummy:
I exercise regularly. Played tennis since 3rd grade. The last 3 years I do taekwodo.
I'm capable with hands & I like wine and the (strong) greek spirit called tsipouro/raki.

Anyone here into the board game "Formula De"/"Formula D"?

I'm looking for some tiny scale (1:144 scale or below) Le Mans race cars and I can't find anything. At all.
