Math game
Re: Math game
Well, it's xx so it's x raised to x'th power. So it's the same x.
Re: Math game
Not correct, but not far from the correct answer.Paw wrote:Well, without really any thinking, but maybe it's 1/3?
Yes, that's what I mean.Paw wrote:Well, it's xx so it's x raised to x'th power. So it's the same x.
Re: Math game
Hmm, maybe you need a hint.
The function can be modified with some properties of the exponential function and logarithm:
xx = ex * ln x, where ln is the natural logarithm http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Natural_logarithm.

Re: Math game
I just don't really understand the question... if you set x to a specific value, then how can the function that only includes x have a "minimum"?
I like short, simple signatures!

That's correctHangman wrote:1/e
In case that's correct somebody can come up with a question.
EDIT: and
x is not set to specific value, it's still the variable of the function.bduddy wrote:I just don't really understand the question... if you set x to a specific value, then how can the function that only includes x have a "minimum"?
