Got a bathrobe (really needed one but got it without wishing so great luck there), set of sheets, a book of thoughts, 2 Moomin mugs and a bottle of White Horse whisky.

Today gonna take a sauna, test the bathrobe while drinking whisky, perhaps from a Moomin mug even though they aren't whisky glasses. ;)

For me the presents were a book about explorers, aftershave & spray (Tonino Lamborghini ^^), a new pendrive and an SD card, and soon a new telephone. And a bit later maybe something else too... :D

got a couple of books to read and a 'coupon' for a painting (as my grandmother hasn't been able to checks shops to find it). Know what kind of painting I want, now i'll have to search for a place who's selling it (replica as the originals are far too expensive )

Umm, try finding a secondhand. I bought a high quality PSP second generation slim & lite for half its price. And with some games.

It's even better if you get the backwards compatibility models because they can play PS1 and PS2 games.
Look to the left ----------------> that's to the right, mate :(

Actually you would be better off with just getting a new slim and then have the PS2 on it's side if you already have it. There's nothing new and important coming to PS2 anyways. Except if you really like the Singstars and Disney games...
The very first generation of PS3 is now about 3-4 years old and they have the old components so their reliability isn't at their best. Starting from the 40Gb version they didn't even have the backwards compatibility anymore. Besides, the support on PS3 was pretty weak anyways, so maybe just 25% of the PS2 games I have would have worked on PS3 if it even had had the support. And I have over 30 PS2 games...

But yeah, besides the huge monitors, I also got a shirt and some deodorant (Is this some sort of a hint? :D ).

Considering how cheap PS2's are these days, it would probably be better just to buy a PS2 along with a newer PS3...

Re: What do you wish X-mas AND SINTERKLAAS present?

Post by SammieVL »

Im sorry for über bumping this topic but its almost Sinterklaas and also Xmas (santa clause is stolen from sinterklaas  ) and so we can start all over again with our christmas and sinterklaas presents!

Sinterklaas is the dutch equivalent of Santa Clause.
And here he gives moar presents than santa. BTW we do celebrate christmas but we do not get much presents then.

Heres a list:
PS3 (prolly not gonna get)
Angry Birds game (the real life one)

Hmm, cant really think of other things..

That super-cool prototype rally car from Colin McRae called the "R4".

On a serious note, the Unity3D game development engine. Some dude built a racing simulator out of it, and it's really popular among indie game developers.
