Did you know that...

...the Circuit de la Sarthe, also known as Le Mans, holds a 24 hour race for bikes?

...Audi, as of 2011, have 10 total victories at the Le Mans 24 Hours race? (for cars of course).

...Mazda still remain the only Le Mans 24 Hours overall winner from Japan?

...while previous Gran Turismo games include brake upgrades, GT5 no longer has them?

...there are six anime-themed racing teams in Super GT's GT300 class? They are:
- BMW Z4 GT3 - GSR&Studie with Team Ukyo (Vocaloid) <---- bit of a mainstay of the series
- Mooncraft Shiden - Cars Tokai Dream28 (Neon Genesis Evangelion)
- Vemac RD320R - Team Mach (Speed Racer) <---- this one too
- Porsche 997 GT3-RSR - Direction Racing (Neon Genesis Evangelion)
- Ferrari F430 GT - LMP Motorsport (Shinryaku! Ika-Musume)
- Porsche 997 GT3-RSR - Hanhook KTR (The Melancholy of Suzumiya Haruhi)

...despite being a sequel to the original GTR, Simbin's GTR2 still only contained the 2003 and 2004 FIA GT seasons?

Did you know that the Gulf Stream keeps the UK warm? If that stream didn't exist, the UK would be a big block of ice just like the Arctic.

I know it may be a bit far fetched but Ferrari have a higher chance of epicly failing on odd years than even years. Look at the 1993 season, with a rubbish car, 1997 with Schumacher getting disqualified, 1999 had Schumacher break his nose (or something) in an accident, 2005 only had one win for Ferrari, and that was due to all the Michelin cars retiring, 2009 was loaded with failures and crashes and the 2011 Ferrari doesn't have that good of a pace. Now compare that to the even years, where in 1994 Larini came 2nd in 1 of only 2 races he entered that season, 1996 had Schumacher win several races, same with 1998. 2000 and 2002 had dominant races for Ferrari, and 2004 had the most dominant F1 car of the 21st century. 2006 was neck and neck with luck deciding the title, same with 2008. 2010 proved Alonso had the chance to win the 2010 season with a weaker car than Red Bull and only had a problem with Petrov.

Did you know that if an atom would be the size of wembley stadium than the nucleus of this atom would be the size of a ricecorn in the centre of the pitch?

This means that everything around us, what you´re looking at, what you touch, what you smell is at 99,99% made up of absolutely NOTHING??? OMFG :D

I calculated that it would take us 14.333r years to get 1 million posts on this forum if we keep going with our current post counts. That means we will reach 1 million posts somewhere around March 30 2024.

Did you know that:

-Michael Schmacher's eye colour is green with brown?
-Sebastian Vettel wore brackets? (GRIF member Serginho wear/wore them, too)
-Jean-Denis Deletraz would be the worst Formula One driver ever? (there was a video about the worst F1 drivers ever on YouTube and he was the #1.)

I also found out that I will make my 2 thousandth post around early October or Late September this year.

@Bob Barker Yeah, Jean-Denis Deletraz was really rubbish. Did you know he retired from a race because he was too tired? And that in Adelaide 1995, Deletraz was already lapped by the top 3 (Schumacher, Hill and Hakkinen) on lap 10? By the time he crashed and therefore retired, Deletraz had been lapped more than 5 times by the leaders. Even his teammate Lavaggi had lapped him.

And he was 10 (!) seconds slower than the top pilots. In my opinion, Deletraz wasn't the only F1 driver who was really rubbish. Yuji Ide was replaced in the beginning of the 2006 F1 season by Franck Montagny, and the FIA has even withdrawn his super license.

That's hard to believe because Häkkinen injured seriously in practise

I'll have that as a quote thanks.
