Heh, yeah. The ending was just a total crush. But it was easy to see why.. The defence just didn't keep the line and gave too much room for the opponent.
(Yesss, way to go Netherlands!)

We did better than we were expecting but Chile was way too strong for us. Glad to not be bottom of the group *phew*

All of this talk of tactics and team selections on TV now is making me want to play Football Manager... but then I will waste so much time... Anyone else play?

Yeah, I'm playing it. :D Started it again a week ago. It's a cool game to play while having the actual World Cup matches on the other screen. Although I did get the skin that allows me to quick play the matches even on the main game. Now the game is the way I want to play it, creating the main structure of the strategy and starting players, choosing who to transfer in and out and control the budget and the press. Then the coaches can do what they can do, train the players and control the team during matches. And maybe this way I actually finish more than just one season.

Rhapsody in orange is all I can say. Magnificent football!! But Robben is one guy I would not want to play with.

That was a pretty depressing sight. Especially the second half was just poor from Spain with the passes being sloppy and no one even wanting to have the ball.

I have nothing to Spain, but I think it's cool that Chile won. Generally I like south American football style on this Mundial, especially Mexican and Colombian. I watched Mundial in RPA, it was a little boring for me sometimes, but this finals are very nice :) I like confontation of playing style from each continent. For example Mexican speed and waywardness with strength and hard playing from the Cameroon. I'll be watching this Mundial still ;)

Croatia vs Mexico. CAN'T WAIT!!! We had a good game yesterday. Thanks to Song, our game was nice and beautiful like a song. Mexico is tough, especially dos Santos but I am sure that we'll find our way in this game and pass the group stage.

I guess I can safely say it's the year of the underdogs here, given the fact that now a handful of teams are eliminated in the first round... Poor them.
Y'all, I just woke up... what did I miss?

I think interesting fact is the mother of football, Europe (I know England created it, but in whole Europe was many ideas of new styles and increasing ideas) is playing worse than American countries! They give uś beautiful games and beautiful goals. And for me it's fantstic, because there the main thing is fun from the game and for fans, not only money what is almost everywhere in Europe.

@BBA, What about the Netherlands?
For each european teams French is the biggest suprise. It's good example how much potential is in young players having support from experienced team-mates. Unfortunately, it isn't always working, which good example is England.
