Even if Barrichello made the call, that's still one hell of a lap from Hulkenberg to do that - he didn't even need that final stunner!

Haha, so true :P
Btw, if Hulkenberg will be on podium tomorrow maybe he'll be my favourite young driver next to Kobayashi :D Keep going Nico!

I remeber him from his amazing A1GP season :D but we will see tommorow ;). My idea is that he is going to be overtaken by top5 drivers easily but he can get points. And points in battle against Force India are very important for Williams now

Well in 2nd part of season Williams is better than Force India. Anyway Force India was on top in 2nd part of previous season and now they fell behind Renault and Williams, thats sad because progress from 2008 to 2009 was quite big.

Seriously, nice to see some other than the 'regulars' to get the pole. Hopefully he'll get at least podium.

I reckon half the reason of the lack of progress may be down to the lack of a truly experienced driver since they lost Fisichella to Ferrari.

Now there's some challenge for the engineers and designers ;)

Though that would look pretty boring after all.

I bet Vettel will be a smart driver and hits Hülkenberg's rear tyre, breaking his front wing at the same time. This way he will mess up both, the Red Bull's and Williams' days.

It should be a very interesting race though.

Alonso strategically placed himself behind Vettel, Webber and Hamilton so he can take them all out at the same time.

Hopefully, because it isn't a very long first straight. Infact, this is the smallest track on the calendar. Martin Brundle said drivers could be able to get times under 70 seconds (1:10 minutes). Also, did anybody hear the news? Jenson Button got shot at by bandits. :scared:

Actually, Interlagos has the shortest LAP, it is not the shortest track on the calendar. Monaco is half a mile shorter.

Am I the only one who thinks that the Brazilian safety car was messed up. Normally lapped cars can overtake the safety car and find their own places. Not this time. Alonso was in 3rd place and Hamilton 4th, but there was at least 5 cars between them. I'm sure that Hamilton would have challenged Alonso if he had had change. He was the quickest car on track at the end of the race, so he could have passed Alonso, and helped Red Bulls :(

I don't remember, that this resorting would be done at least once during whole this year. I think, that the rule was abandoned, now the SC comes just in front of leader probably.

Ok. I checked it in Formula1.com
During a safety car period, backmarkers are no longer able to ‘unlap’ themselves whilst running behind the safety car. €t’s hoped that this will shorten safety car periods and see quicker restarts during the 2010 season.
But they used it in this season. SC had that green light.

I know. I was hoping that Alonso would be behind webber and vettel to take the lead but instead we got a bunch of noobs between the 3.

I think that only applies to cars directly behind the SC, like in Indycar and now NASCAR...

Yeah, they will let those pass the SC that are between the SC and the 1st place racer. I hope they will revert that rule back for the next season, since now the safetycar really didn't do anything good for the race. The cars on the lead lap couldn't fight against each other since they had to pass the backmarkers and the backmarkers couldn't fight against each other since there was someone constantly trying to pass them.
Or how about a double file restart, Nascar/Indycar style? :D
