So, the local convention has been run and done. Got good valuable experience at using their TV cameras for the live feed onto the big screen. A few extra books collected, nothing out of the ordinary though, so I won't indulge in updating the list.

Did have one of the local DeviantArt folks have a go at drawing my daft fat face. I have to say, their interpretation turns out to be more liberal than even my own idealistic photoshop effort. :D

Also updated my site logo, still in the Azumanga Daioh theme that I love so much.

Now that I already infected by Gundam, I started to collect Gundam-related games like Gundam Musou 2, SD Gundam G Generation Wars, etc. Furthermore, I've gone watching G Gundam episodes and Turn A Gundam. Not sure if I'm going into newer Gundams, Gundam Wing, or several UC-timeline ones.

Talk about SD Gundam, I visited a mall where it has a Gundam Gashapon (sort of a capsule dispenser where you insert a coin and just spin the spinner). Wanted Shining Gundam, but ended up having Nu Gundam, Gundam Virsago Chest Break, Infinite Justice, and Zakurello. Out of all, Nu Gundam and Infinite Justice are my favs.
Y'all, I just woke up... what did I miss?

The Squid Girl DVD is here! Drawn really well and in general a good laugh. But it's not the best one of the lot really. Will still collect them though.

Any recommendations for Hetalia?

Too late, already bought Seasons 2 and 3 plus the movie DVDs (rather irritating I can't find Season 1 yet). Recommended? Oh god yes, don't let anyone tell you otherwise on who it's recommended for, it's hilarious.

I speak for the English dub, of course... ;)

I don't know, after seeing so many teen girls cosplaying the series and doing dumb yaoi things, I'm not feeling like watching it.. :D

But that's the thing. They have no higher a rating than M, so there's nothing like that sort of thing involved.

I have a real problem with "doujinshi" type things (or as I like to call it, "making things up without real thought or resemblance to what was produced by the author"), because I could literally make any old tat up and just say "well, that's how I interpreted the story". Therefore, I think the Transformers are really made of cheese (obvious when you think about it), Knuckles the echidna likes hanging around seedy nightclubs and so on and so forth.

Strange rambling rant, I know. But there's no yaoi involved in it, Todd Haberkorn is bloody hilarious in whatever he does and that makes Hetalia a hit for me. Don't tell the teen girls though... :shhh:

BTW, a big recommendation on watching Tokyo Magnitude 8.0. The show sort of simulates what would happen if an earthquake as big as 8 richters hit Tokyo, and follows the survival of a few people during the first days of the event. The story is rather realistic, although exaggerated, but there won't be aliens or flying ships. But the show is amazing all the way from the beginning to the end.

Maybe spoilers for the people who want to watch it:
And once you have gotten over the surprising ending and go back to the middle part, you'll figure out what has really happens, and all of the emotions will become even deeper. And then you notice things you didn't see before and think why you didn't notice it before, it was so obvious.
I watched the show practically in one day. It just kept on getting better and better. And then I had to drop some fluids from my eyes. Because of the dirt that somehow managed to hit my eyes all the time during the last few episodes.

Having some wins in the DVD department lately.

Was browsing through the anime section (as you do). Nothing particularly eye-grabbing as such. Oh well, wonder what's in the live action section.

Yeah, only "Big Man Japan". A must see crazy film about the giant monster culture in Japan set in the modern day. Seen it before, but nice to have a copy on the shelf for later viewing. :D

Curious lack of anything to update. Got #2 and #9 of Yotsuba&! (that seriously should have got an anime...) and I think #1 and #4 of Lucky Star is on it's way (leaving only #2, #3 and possibly if it ever gets a translation, the upcoming #9).

Just watching all the favourites again really, haven't seen anything that has attracted my interest yet...

Have plans for some Touhou and Vocaloid crossplays for some upcoming anime conventions this fall... Don't ask why.

Desucon is just about a month away. I guess I'll cosplay either Takagi Akito from Bakuman or Nezu from Tantei Opera Milky Holmes. Depends on weather and stuff like that.

I was supposed to make a Daft Punk-ish outfit for this summer, but there just simply wasn't enough of time. That's why I have to go back for the ones I used last year.

The spring season doesn't seem to have any really good and special shows, which is pretty disappointing. Acchi Kocchi and Upotte seem to be best ones of the season. Then comes maybe Natsu-Iro Kiseki and Saki. Rest of the shows seem to be very average, not that any of the listed ones would be unforgettable either.

Just got this plastic Gundam model days ago. I had a real good time in working it, and I'd love to buy more of these!

Btw, it's GN-000 0 Gundam that you're seeing here. I was going to buy the Beginning Gundam but it's too expensive... :(. But well, at least this is a good Beginner's Gunpla, and I'm into it now.

Thinking about getting a RX-78-2, or Astray Red Frame if there's any.

PS: It's a 1/144 High Grade :)

This tends to happens when Vocaloids meet Brazilian Carnival.

Part 1: Aoki, Gakupo, Gumi, Hibiki and Kaai.

@Doorslammer: Hahah, that's cool. :D

And I guess there's no need to guess which Vocaloid I like the most. Although the new SeeU is also amazing. I can't wait until they release the english version of the soundpack so I can get my hands on her and... Welp, sounds dirty already. :D

Also, woop woop, only 4 episodes, aka a month until the new wave of series' come out! Then this season of averageness is over.
