Hmm, i'm not necessarily sure this is worthy of its' own thread. The funny stuff thread would seem more likely for this video but thanks for sharing.

That is a nice Jaguari in a while, yeah. They just seem to have gone a bit on the "copy Aston Martin" route..

Have we a discussion topic for news in car industry, our preferences or experiences (out of ''post your car'')? Maybe this one can be a start of something like that. :D

Yeah, that would be pretty useful thread (just with a bit different title... :P ) That's one of those threads still missing (quite surprisingly)

Well, I also thought about where to put it, but no thread really seemed to fit and despite making a bit fun of it, I seriously do like the new design.... and hey, it's a Jaaaaag! :D

Feel free to join in and share your thoughts about car designs you like, Ivo's idea is great! :)

Well, what makes a good car design for you? How has a car to look like to please your eye, what lines should the design have, how should it "feel" when you look at it etc. For example you could even come up with an own drawing or another car for example and show what you like about it etc.

In my case for example, the Jaguar XFR with its new facelift combines some certain lines from Audis (look at the front from the bottom up to the bonnet or the rear lights (which I don't like, older ones were much nicer)) with the typical elegance of a Jaguar without compromising an overall sporty and dynamic look. This is as well caused by the shape of the head lights that give the XFR a certain aggressiveness and make it much more compact than an Audi for example. The Audi would have a huge-looking front compared to this and would have to gain back its sportiness through small wind visors, splitters, spoilers etc. Another thing is the outmost line raising up from the headlights and then trailing down to the rear, giving the car a pretty distinct "edge" all around which is then joined together by the upper edge of the rear.

I actually kind of like design of the new GM Ampera. The deep airvents below the headlights look aggressive and for a green eco car, unlike the Toyota Prius and G-Wiz, this car doesn't look like a donkey's backside. I also like the fact that this hatchback doesn't look like a glorified compact car, it actually looks like a sedan, just like the 80's and 90's hatchbacks e.g BMW 316i, Renault Laguna 1, Vauxhall Astra Mk4 etc.

Has anybody heard of the new Pagani? The Hurrah, Hwúrrr, Heurer or something like that? IMO it just looks like a rounded Zonda. But that makes it awesome! :D

I have to say I don't really like that new Pagani Huayra too much. But that might be just because of the fact that I have always kept the Zonda as the best supercar there is.
At least give a little wing for that Huayouyara and it might get a bit edgier.

Sorry for double post but the new title isn't really the best thing you could have put. I'm in love (in a car) sounds errr. Well you know :hiya:

I don´t know why.
Many people say it´s ugly.
But i absolutely love this car.

To me it´s like coca cola: Unhealthy, useless and it doesn´t even taste good. But it stands for much more than just a drink and therefore I buy it almost every time I see a vending machine. :D

+ it has a 3.1 liter V6
