Those names...

Post by RodSk8Punk »

I remember this topic I created was popular on RSC (much more than I though it would be), so...

How you misread the users name?

TuomoH: Tumuo
Quklis: Quilkis, I read like: Cu (from cube) and an X

I'm Spanish so I misread A LOT of names when I first read them.
Lukeno1 ---> Luqueno uno (I read it like that, I'm sorry there's no good phonetic translation)
Crowella ---> Crogüela (sorry, same thing here)

2nd
:hattip:
My name is not usually misread but misunderstood. People think that I hate some driver/rider (they think 996 is either 9-96 or 99-6 :headbang:) or that I'm some kind of emo (WTF!? :eyes:).

What's the real origin of my name??
Diego (my real name) + Ducati 996 (maybe my favourite motorcycle)

In some other forums you can also find me as die-1098 or Diestroyer.

Just because there arent any very short names here like GRF, everyone has a long name, so I just looked quickly and saw it as GRF. :king:

Thanks to Monaro I saw it's my 100th post. So I won't post on this forum no more, as I like this number very much.

I won't tell you how I misread XYY, but DRV ot Tony might know. Remember the things about CaLu in "How did you decide your nick" thread? The same is here. So I have to read him as X ("iks").
