Fun with a 3D printer: GeneRally Tracks become reality
Next step would be some paint and miniature trees - Time to visit the local scale-modelling-store

Wow! Now, if only the scale could be a little bigger, or at least big enough for the smallest RC cars...
I like short, simple signatures!

That's gonna be epic!

Well, at the moment its ~7.5x7.5 cm (and took 1,5 hours to print) - i can go to 19x19 cm maximum - even that would be not big enough ^^ But it may be big enough to decorate it with premade trees and stuff ^^
It would be great if there is a way to get a 3d model from a whole track (including objects). The way this one is done is just by exporting the hmap and convert it into a 3d surface.
But the new Car editor can export obj, i will experiment with that option too ^^

I just had a devilish thought... scale it up for the ZipZap RCs everyone seemed to have years ago

Actually there is already an "utility" made by Strava that can do the same with current cars we have in GRCrono wrote:But the new Car editor can export obj, i will experiment with that option too ^^
