At this rate, soon GR will be an accurate simulation of F1 with the 6-car limit...

I had set my alarm clock to wake me up in the morning. But it was set to ring on Wednesday. So I woke up just as the podium interviews started. Which I guess is a good thing, since that was the best part of the race.

Well, I set the alarm on the right time, but I forgot to set this ON! I woke up at Lap 25. Later I (at least) watched the start (and the SC-phase).

This will mess the calculations up in the prediction game :D

I saw some sparks this morning. Did FIA actually change those wood floors to metallic ones just for the show? What a joke if yes.

They have, although they claim it was for a reason rather than just for show, I just forget what. But I think it looks pretty cool.

Looks cool but it's absolutely ridiculous if you think that it's done just for TV.

Ricciardo is going to have a fun season ahead of himself. He has already chewed through all of the four engines allowed during a season. So now he has 15 to go with one engine or a huge bunch of penalties and starting from 20th place for half of the season.

Also, as comment for the previous discussion... Cool sparxxx in Bahrain!

The F1 is making bad decisions on the calendar. After Germany 2016 also Monza could fly out of the calendar. :(

I think, in a few years, there will be more races in Arabia then anywhere else. :shhh:

Possibly because that is where the money is. Seems like pretty much all major motor sports make decisions on where to race based on how much money they can get rather than how good or popular a track is.

During the FP, the hood flew off from Grosjean's car. Could have been worse, if it wouls have happened in a wrong time.

Such pathetic car swap (this time between Ricciardo and Kwjat) I saw the last time 2010 (''Felipe, Alonso is faster then you...'')

They did so to try to take podium, when was sure it failed, they actually switched those two back on finish line.

I could have just watched a recap of the race and I wouldn't have lost anything. Such a waste of 2 hours these progression races.

The only important moments of F1 race in Monaco:
  • Start
    Verstappen's crash
    finish
The important moments of Indy 500:
  • Everything
    especially finish

That's why F1 should think from American Motorsport series, when it's about to give a show (or from the WTCC at the Nordschleife).

Except for extreme gimmicks or rain, there's nothing that could possibly make an open-wheel race at Monaco interesting. Now, as for the rest of the races...

They should swap the races so Nascar races at Monaco and F1 at Coca Cola 600. Now THAT would create some action. :D Although F1 would propably need GP2 to be included in the race or the track would be pretty empty. Or actually, bring in GP3, since GP2 might be faster than F1.

Hmm, some gamesmanship by Mercedes perhaps to give Hamilton the title?
