I want to cry. So many great features, but none of that can be compensated for with a lacking tracks list.

Indeed, the tracklist is very small... Could they possibly even have some licensing problems with some of them, so they will be given out later as dlc... I will surely miss Apeicot Hills the most of the original tracks.

It's also funny to see that they have gone to the 50+ Skylines route. There's nothing wrong with Skylines, but... Isn't that just a bit too much? Also, something like 20 of different MX5s. There would have been more suitable Mazdas to have that amount.

But hey, the release is just two weeks away now! And overall the game will be great!

THey have confirmed at least 300 cars and the Lexus LFA, VW Kubelwagen, VW T2 and Alfa Romeo 8C Competizione should be in GT5 according to the screenshots and photos.

Looking at the official car list, i'm dissapointed to see barely any more british cars in the game. The same Vauxhalls since GT4, No more added TVRS and the only Fords are american. I hope for GT6 they bring back cars from GT2 otherwise PD have lost a customer. I want to drive early to late 90's crapboxes not mundane cars from 2005 - present that quite frankly all look the same. The GT logo with all the cars is cool though.

The thing that bugs me, why there's bunch of Yaris', then also a fair amount of Vitz's etc. Do they really need so much of these type of cars in a racing game?

At the end of the day, it's a Japanese game, and the Japanese ALWAYS focus on their products. Which is why you don't get many European cars apart from the obviously faster ones, and even then many are left out. (most AMG Mercedes/Audi RS and some BMW M cars, for example)

Woop, it came!
It's looking great so far. I just don't know what I should do with the DLC chromeline cars. I don't want to make the game too easy by using them... :/ The licenses seemed to be a bit easier than in GT4. Or then I just have learned to drive.

I know what I will do the next weeks....

challenges are fun, i'm already up to 150000Cr (:P), bought a WRX STi and won by 50 seconds at a 3 laps race at cape ring lol

I have just about half a mil. Cr myself. I have been driving the licenses mostly. The victory musocs etc are so funny. They are almost like those cheezy bg songs you hear in some 80's action movies.

I had such a cool race today too. In the pick up series I had the slowest possible pick up and the race was at Daytona, meaning i would clearly be the underdog. It was just so intense the slipstreaming and all the tries to pass. The slipstreaming made many other intense races too, mostly at Le-Mans. I go on Camaro that tops at 184km/h and the fastest competitors go at about 200km/h. With slipstreaming I can gain about 10km/h but still I am falling behind. Then I catch the gap only to see it stretch longer on the next straight. Then when we finally get to the permanent track I catch the top 5 and pass them one by one. Wow, these victories just feel so good. That's why I don't really want to use too over powered cars, rather a bit under powered.

i've eaned about 750000 cr. in total now, and my first fast car was lamborghini gallardo, and today it races from the other lambos in the lambo turnament with no problem ;P
