England should win! Every else country can start to dig their own graves. England for the win (and Rooney)!
Re: Discussion about sport events (out of motorsport) *spoil
I'm sure we will see some great goals by Rooney Anyway I think that Spain or Portugal should win...

I'll decide my personal candidate after groups - I want to see first, which kind of football each team wants to play on this tournament and how they will present themselves. I have strong doubts I'll wish title to Italy or France (because of Ireland). I want to see mainly Serbia, Denmark, Netherlands, Brazil and Chile in the group matches. But biggest candidate for my soul are guys from Spain, if they will play as good football as on last Euro.
My GR Racing Stats; thanks to GWR!

Messi won't be the best player in the World... he becomes REALLY lazy when it comes to international matches. Gonzalo "Pipita" Higuaín is much better than that annoying "pulga" (flea). Btw, I'm Spanish and I think we'll win, most national teams have one weak side but Spain hasn't.GeneSuomi wrote:What about Lionel Mes... Sorry, Argentina?

England almost won, but Green failed alittle... Rooney wasnt playing seriously.
Good that they didnt lose.

The headline in one US newspaper was "US Beats England 1-1"Sutinen wrote:NOOOOO!

Stupid Brazil... I made a bet that there would be more goals in the 1st half of their game today, and they can't even score one before the half...
I like short, simple signatures!

What do you think about Best North Korea? Poor guys, I hope they will advance from the group stage.
Re: Discussion about sport events (out of motorsport) *spoil
Favourite teams have unexpected problems . Germany - Serbia 0-1, France - Mexico 0:2, Spain - Suiss 0-1..... it seems that final round of team stage will be interesting

France are 99% out, Spain need to beat Chile or they will be out, Italy need a good result against Slovakia, Portugal need to score more than the Ivory Coast against North Korea, England need to avoid defeat tonight.
A lot of good teams are on the brink at the moment

Hannu, who art in Finland, Räbinä be thy name. Sim racers come, races are won, at Agari, as at Xupong. Give us this day our version 1.06, and forgive us all our impatience, as we race those who challenge against us. Lead us not into boredom, but deliver us from work. For thine is the GeneRally, and the AI, and the race cars. Amen!
Re: Discussion about sport events (out of motorsport) *spoil
I did not expect this from England. You actually saw how frustrated Rooney was when he didnt get any passes. There was plenty of good spaces at the end of the match...
Re: Discussion about sport events (out of motorsport) *spoil
So, now we know who adv. from A, B, C and D group. I'm quite suprised about England who passed Slovenia by 1 point Also I thought that Ghana will be first in D group, but they lost with Germans 0:1. 1/8 finals are starting this Saturday finally something exciting
Re: Discussion about sport events (out of motorsport) *spoil
Now Rooney did play better than the other games! I wish that hes going to make goals in the next match!
IM not surprised at all, because England has so good players. Just the attitude needs improvement.

No, THE JUDGES FAIL. The second goal shot by Lampard (wich one hit the bar and bounced back from the goal) was not accepted. And jabulani bounced from german player and rooney was offside! Makes no sense to me!
If Lampards shots would go two centimeters lower, Germany would be screwed.

lol Raphael, watch out, or we(netherlands) will beat you
Re: Discussion about sport events (out of motorsport) *spoil
It's funny how the matches seem to be so unbalanced. The Netherlands vs. Brazil has two possible champions going against each other already. And then the Germany vs. Argentina is another one like it. And then the next two matches have the "lol whatever" teams. Ok, all of them propably really are good teams, but still I think that those 4 teams have the real chance of actually winning the title.
(But then again I haven't seen even a minute of playing time, so I'm propably a bit off on my football knowledge. )
