Discuss here about sports, out of motorsports.

The world championships of ice-hockey have been very interesting, Denmark won USA and Finland :weep: , Norway won Czech... Also France had a tight match with Sweden (at least for the goals, I didn't watch the game). I think Finland has very good chances to win USA tomorrow and revenge that what happened in Vancouver :misch:

edited after Ivo's post

Edit:
Football: here.

It will not be good champ. :sorry: Czechs play nothing, Swedes play nothing, Finnish and USA same nothing too. It will be again boring decision - Russia or Canada. :rage:

Better solution, btw. Separate discussion topic. Discuss here, guys, everything out of motorsport. :)

...

The team still needs to work on finishing (Kapanen's goal was amazing though). And leave the completely useless mistakes which led to USA's goals away.

Yeah, went to watch it in a pub in Helsinki. And so we had a drinking game with it. Everytime Mertaranta said Finland(or finnish, etc etc.) I drank, everytime he mentioned USA, my friend drank. He said Finland multiple times more than USA. :D
And otherwise it was a good match. Except for that silly goal right in the beginning.

Yeah Mertaranta is the best speaker! :D
How many "perkele" and "saatana" did you hear when USA did the first goal (or Finland, it depends)? :sherlock:

Yeah, it isn't that easy of an opponent. They can tackle hard and seeing that the Finnish team is just full of SM-liiga players and youngsters, I predict some Finnish attackers are flying all around the rink and collecting their teeth. But in the end, Finland SHOULD still win it pretty easily.

Don't be happy. They will work hard on re-gaining respect of other teams and mainly of their nation or they'll have to travel through Bratislava in sewer drains after their return. ;) Finnish can success only, if they will have in mind match of Slovaks against Russia, otherwise they will be KO in first third.
