Just asking, how to make tracks with Sketchup? I know I've installed it before but since the first reinstall of mine I lost it... :(

XYY wrote:@Paw: why don't you make that as your next track for :gr: ?
Maybe because it has a bad layout? :P

But the tool seems interesting

It seems that now I got along well with Sketchup.

Here's my track. Still on the layout design process. Will add the details later.

Done a rework on the whole track as I don't like the current layout.

The outer border is where the walls would be.

These were some of the possible layouts for the game we were supposed to do. (Yeah, the project kinda died pretty quickly since the school project we are having takes just way too much time and energy... [Mod note: You can close the CamperWars thread])

So the first track would have gone around some kind of an industrial complex thingie. Propably a huge laboratory or something like that.
The second would have been propably in a city or something. It would have been a quick and challenging track.
And the last one would have been a pure race track.
There was atleast a fourth design too, but looks like I haven't scanned it. And propably won't scan either.

They're drawn on notebook, so don't mind the lines.

@tfisher93: Please don't bump topics older than 30 days, unless you have something really important to say.

@XYY
You're again warning people for posting in old thread, which is really a bit different from the others :really: Threads like that can be bumped, so don't look blindly at the date of last post, because sometimes it's not wrong. Similar threads are "Those names...", "Music taste", "Show your lawn!" ( :P ). The rule apply mostly to the Tracks and Cars forums, or threads with problems, which were solved.

Isn't this another topic which can be bumped at any time? And BTW, what tfisher93 posted was important :really:

As others have said, it's different for download sections than other sections.

@tfisher93: Wow, those are cool. :) I like the first one a lot. There are some nice and smooth corners. It would look good in real life.

3 designs of mine. Tracks have qutie different styles.
Track width is not exact (just a guide), World size should be between 230 & 255.
