Always 120

Sometimes i win, sometimes i must fight only for a podium...and it's a great way to keep me in good shape for my comeback

Edit: and 70% for damage cause i don't like to make unreal overtakes to gain a position :boxing:

on some tracks 130, on some 110 ... When I make AI line myself, very difficult to drive even with 105. AI line can be good, and can be not good) And for each car, should be different AI line. On different cars and tracks AI level different at all.
choose I eat noobs.

Always 100. Sometimes I incerase that when racing with Tokyo Drift cars (1.32 version, slow one), or when I race on circuits with crappy line ;)

When I started playing in Generally i set AI to 70-75. Now It's on 115-130 level.

I'm not going to lie, my AI are near 75-80. I don't even know how you can compete with 100 strength AI

Mega-bump
But, answering the question, it changes with the track. My AI's has the levels 100, 63, 63, 20 and 200. In full-thortlle tracks, i can win all the 5, but in low-speed tracks i lose against all AI's.

Bumps are ok in threads/section like this. ;)

If I want to win easy I do Gran Turismo style: I create an exact copy of the car I want to use, but then boost it's performance and cornering abilities, as if it were tuned.

Put an level 1 turbo/NA; better cornering, but with bigger tendency to slide for balancing.

I didn't played too much GeneRally for some time, but I found a lot of fun recently racing in Slug Wing with a red Toyota Supra (Not GT style tuned).

All my opponents also driving Toyota Supras. Here are some stats:

CPU1: Color: Yellow; AI: 47
CPU2: Color: White; AI: 53
CPU3: Color: Grey; AI: 57
CPU4: Color: Black; AI: 64
CPU5: Color: Blue; AI: 55 - 58*
CPU6: Color: Purple; AI: 58**
CPU7: Color: Green; AI: 100***

*:After CPU5, who had AI 55, had beat CPU 4, who have AI 64, in a tournament, I gave him extra 3 AI, kind of like experience.
**:CPU 6 is always left out. He's there for when I want to see a full CPU controlled race, or for 8 cars tournaments.
***:CPU7, along with CPU6, is for 8 cars tournaments. It's AI is 100 because I forgot to adjust it.

Today I raced a tournament.

More details:
(X = CPUX/R = me)
First race on Slug Wing Route C
3 vs 2, 3 wins
6 vs R, I win
4 vs 5, 5 wins
7 vs 1, 7 wins

Second race on Slug Wing Route B
3 vs R, I win
5 vs 7, 7 wins

Last race on Slug Wing Route A
R vs 7...
Not surprisingly, CPU7 along with me got to the finals. But surprisingly, I beat him! I think this is the first time I beat an AI 100! I think I kind of cheated a little (trying to push him, not entering completely the pits, there was an accident at start of lap 4 where I holded him against a soft wall), but it was hard the same way.

If you have Slug Wing and the Supra, see my replay:

Say what you think: I cheated, I'm getting better...

I usually lose to an AI-90 driver, but I remember successfully defeating an AI-191 vehicle few times in a row on an oval :hide:

AIs are usually pretty bad on ovals, unless the AI line is made specifically for that car, because unlike human players they can't use the entire width of the track - they can only use their line - which is really necessary for being fast on an oval.

My setting for drivers' skills..

CPU1: 90
CPU2: 87
CPU3: 80
CPU4: 75
CPU5: 65
CPU6: 60

///// My results since Sep, 2005 /////
___________Seasons___Races___
Wins_________356______599____
2nd places____310______439____
3rd places____364______484____
4th places____300______406____
5th places____303______426____
6th places____301______568____
Total_______1934_____2922____

Total points 15734
Fastest laps 1413
But my new tracks test are always performed by 110 x 6 AI cars..
I chose 105-110, because more much times were tested to my new tracks than me played GR..

im impressed you managed to keep your stats up like that, i make so many changes to drivers, that i tend to reset them all every couple of months

I'm typically using AI's with a strength between 100-113 (in the poll i typed 105-110). Sometimes when I'm new/bad on a car I adjust the AI's near (or light under) 100, and when I'm very fast on a car, I adjust the AI's to around 110.

I also use different AI's.

-''GP'' for all cars except Formula Cars. (for example: TouringCars[BTCC, WTCC], GT cars, NASCAR Sprint/Trucks)
-''Formula'' for all Formula Cars. (for example: F1, GP2, F3, IndyCars, SuperFormula etc.)

My AI's have around the same strength, but they have a difference between 1 AI strength point.
Ground Level 107:
AI* 1=107
AI* 2=108
AI* 3=109
AI* 4=110
AI* 5=111
AI* 6**=112

*like pointed out above I have 2 different AI's (GP and Formula).
**AI 6 is only used, when I make a full computer race, but I make this very rarely.
