I'm agree with you but with a suitable zoom such a worldsize allows not to see the track borders and the background image. It's possible to make a big track with more realistic scenery.
But maybe a worldsize up to 512 may be sufficient.
Both have probably been requested before, but an in-game search for cars and tracks would make racing easier, and if the in-game menu and race bar could either scale the cars to fit, or crop them to fit, that would also be very helpful.
well, I'm not sure if someone mentioned that...
new option in v1.10c is to add crowd by adding person one by one
it's nice option but I think that it'd be cool if each spectator - wheather adult or children act like a member of the pitstop-team! You know - when is punched by our car is blooding for a while and bumping out - our car is significantly slower but still can go!
Now it is impassable/impossible to get through two persons
I think that great idea will be watching replays from user defined perspective(s).

I'm not really shure where to post this, so i'll just do it here.
anyways, it has been over a year since the latest version of the game came out. Are the gamemakers really that busy, since they haven't realesed something newer yet?

We've used 1.05 for almost 9 years, so we can live on with slower updates.

It would be, but then updates would be smaller and more prone to bugs. And there are only a few people who work on the project, and they have lives outside of the interwebz as well!

Came here to say exactly this
We'd love to release updates more often, but we can only work as much as time allows. Rest assured, though, we're still working

I totally disagree with you. I still believe that more than 50% our proposals will be done.
James, new version in next month?

Scorpion, I think you've mis-understood what was meant. He was not on about the level of content in the updates, but the fact that slower updates are fine.
I know and I think that they need some people which one will help they.

There have been many offers, all of which were rejected. We have to respect the Rabina's wishes, and diluting the genepool (haha) of those whom work on the project won't help.
Please check the first page of this thread, as it has been updated with the new Official GeneRally feature request list v8.0. I'll will try to update the list, when or if enough new features will be requested.
Just want to say this is a superb job by Egamad - it's been very helpful to Markku and I over the past few months, and it really helps to categorise and sum-up all the feature requests that have been made over the years

Tomorrow (if I good thinking) is important moment for our community.
New GR will be available?

This won't be a request in the tradition sense. However it's my sincerest hope that this game never gains any form of integrated trophy/achievements system, permanent account stat tracking and ranking or any of that sort of fluff which plagues all modern games today. And that GeneRally never loses sight of being that humble racing game that anyone can come back to and play which stands on its own merits.
Not so much that I genuinely expect such things to be integrated(or how they would even fit in for that matter.). But I'm just paranoid like that and I felt the need to riff.
