Your racing colors

Post by Mr.J »

So, share the "story" behind your racing colors with us. :)

I use this Pink-White color on my car. The "cancermobile" is like the cancer ribbon to
remember those suffering from breast cancer, which is very common in my family.

Please, tell me your story. ;)

Wish I had a screenshot for this, but my racing colors are either dark blue/gray or dark blue/yellow (and occasionally dark blue/white). The dark blue color is always around 0-0-180 and the gray color is always around 90-90-90.

I usually use black and yellow (000-000-000/255-255-000), sometimes also dark grey and yellow, which was the color of my first ever car that I raced in GRC (which was also my first race in my GR career). It's the FR/13 with the SuperNova paint scheme, IIRC.

Will post screenshots later, I think.

My colors were/are dark green(matrix style) and black. The darkness/lightness of the green depends pretty much on the car, since on some it looks better to have the green more noticeable, but especially on cars that have the helmet only as black, I tend to use pretty dark green.

Looks like FedEx are funding part of Lukeno94 Sports then. xD

Mine are usually some form of deep blue and either green or yellow. xD Completely unrelated to the Lukeno94 Sports cars, but xD

I have two racing teams.
The "It's a Team"(tarmac races) team colors (blue and tourquoise:0-0-255/0-255-255) are my favorite colors.
The "SanMarinoRun" team(rallycrosses) colors(light blue and white:0-180-255/255-255-255) represent two of my favorite places: San Marino and my Rio de Janeiro.

0-160-0/192-192-192 - with other words, green and light grey (or silver). These come originally from my most liked colors, but I've begun to use them only about 4 years ago, when on some offline races with my friend we've raced with the original Formula in collapsed F1 teams. And I've raced then in Jaguar... :D

0-0-50, and 255-0-200 for me. I have always liked the colour navy blue, but I don't know why I use cerise pink. However, it is quite bold, and distinctive.

Seems I forgot about it :D
I don't really have a story. But I regulary use 255-200-000 and 054-054-054. In former times I didn'T know the values exactly so it was often sth different than 54 :D
But for SCC I use 160x3 and 80x3 because my yellow-grey would look a bit strange there, so you can see I'm not totally fixed on my colors :)

Usually "British Racing Green" (0/66/37) or a combination of white and bright orange (RAL 2005, ≈ 255/35/0).
