Has anyone ever noticed...

... that oil follows HMAP in TE
Hannu, who art in Finland, Räbinä be thy name. Sim racers come, races are won, at Agari, as at Xupong. Give us this day our version 1.06, and forgive us all our impatience, as we race those who challenge against us. Lead us not into boredom, but deliver us from work. For thine is the GeneRally, and the AI, and the race cars. Amen!

That's news to me but seems your right. Guess I haven't found about it since I don't splash oil around in TE. ;)

I came accross it while trying to make cliffs in TE to see if it could be done well

Yeah, I have to say when I played around with the cliffs in my TE track, I thought something seemed different, but I usually do LMap before HMap. I thought it was just my brush size and the fact I had dirt already on there. Apparently not.

Had a try of it then, you are right. It's cool I have to say.

Here something I just noticed at an Oval track I'm making: the pit guys "slide" down if you have a hmap like this and correct their position when they got too far away from their starting position.

I noticed that ages ago on lots of tracks. The pit men probably get bored so they have a little wander :uglylol:
Look to the left ----------------> that's to the right, mate :(

Another thing: Open a GR LMap and delete all things. Paint half border and half light black(not oil, 0-0-0 black). The light black stays as light black. Now create a track with this LMap and race on them. Conclusion: The light black do the same effect as border.

Has anyone ever noticed, that you can't make ice with the regular TE?

@RobertRacer: Oh yes, you can. Just use the "Snow" tool and right-click. However, you can't directly use the "border" color IIRC...

Apart from the fact that this is GR discussion, not OT. I deleted Np's post.
