My GeneRally PC

Post by Crono »

My old PC had a window with a nice GeneRally logo (see atachement). My new one has a window too, but I missed this logo the past 3 years -> I want it back! :)

But there is a small problem: I cant find the logos/wallpapers on my pc ... :( Anyone here who could upload this logo?

I still have the original zip of the generally logo on my HD. It contains the cored draw (.cdr) file and a gif version of the logo.
I guess you need a high res of the logo so I guess the .cdr file is what you need.

I'm not sure If I can upload it here and I cant remember who made it in the first place as well...no readme in the zip.
I can still send it to you if TLN files are not suitable for your needs...

My personal question is how much does your GR folder, TLN, weight, considering you have huge amount of diverse things such as almost any tracks ans cars and other tools...

TGF, it's not THAT big ;) , the game still fits on a DVD, 1,33 GB (incl. all tracks, a few selected cars & car-packs, some tools, like palette-changer, track-tool. track-viewer, and a lot of sounds).

On the same HDD, I also have some kind of "mod" I put together, with F1-1982 cars only, and all the tracks from 1982, in the right order. It also contains all the drivers from the 1982 season.) (32,1 MB).
From time to time I make a backup of my main GeneRally folder, which is also on this HDD, at the moment (4 weeks old) 1,24 GB.
Then there's a small folder with tools I sometimes use. (21,4 MB).

My backup-folder on the other hand, which I keep on another HDD, contains cars, tracks, tools, pictures, movies, websit-links, GR-Quiz (By Crono), GR-Cardgame, a few wallpapers, tutorials, sounds, drivers, Icons, Music, FAQ, and all versions of GeneRally ever made.
I'm collecting these files since 2004, the year I discovered GeneRally.
At the moment, this folder is "only" 942 MB big, a lot of files are still zipped & rared.

Once in a while I burn all my files on a DVD-rom, to make sure nothing gets lost. :D
But I know I'm missing a whole lot of tracks because I didn't download very much from 2007-2009 from RSC.

EDIT: @ Crono, the labels you received from me can also be found on this Website. :eyes:
