Yeah, Barclays have started to let you design your own, noticed it at the ATM today and it was the first thing I did when I got home lol

I discovered this funny bug in one of my WIP models when I got back to it.

could it be that vertex 28 is listed as "New..." in the dropdown menus at the left? :D

I think it's because there's a "Vertex 0", that's the first one, so the 28th one is actually Vertex 27 :D

I don't think so, because it happened for me couple of times too.

The final vertex can, very occasionally, glitch out when the car file is saved. I believe it is a car editor issue, because sometimes it cannot find the last vertex, even though everything appears visible. I have a similar issue with one of my cars on my hard drive. :)

Yeah, it's not that rare glitch, I've faced it every now and then... Just save the car, close the car editor and try to open the file again.
That's worked for me every time

It really does say something when you consider the thousands of tracks that exist, with all those that any can stand out as much as this one does

Reviving this thread with a new EC... :D

This is how night lights would function when it's implemented... (sorry if it's too small...)

Here's a strange thing from me and I couldn't figure out anywhere to post it other than here, because I suppose it is kind of mythical. Had WAY too much time since I've been sick so I've made a program that reads a GeneRally track. Doesn't sound like much but hopefully I can work with this and make a track editor similar to the current one but with just a little more power, such as the ability to draw lines of objects so straight walls match up and do patterns easier. I know SnakeEditor does this stuff pretty well but I think I want to try something that has a similar interface to the current one. I also want to work with something where you can contrast the objects/Lmap easier. I haven't worked out the best way yet but I'm getting there, for example, using a toned down color palette to show the LMap and lighter coloured objects so you can see where exactly you are placing the next object (useful if you're building walls).

Image with comparison to the current TE: http://i.imgur.com/8YhJbnn.jpg

Probably very far from anything major yet though. For one, I have a few more objects to code in for display then I have to neaten everything up/make a lot of things switchable then I can start working on the editing part but for now I just want to be able to read and display everything as accurately as I can, this includes some information about what the ghost files mean.

Thanks has to go to majortom :goodvibes: who helped me figure out what the last figures really are "the checksum" with his great write up of the track file hex values, I wish I found your file detail list earlier because I couldn't figure out what it was. :ouch: I'll try and figure out how to generate it too.

EDIT: Another update on it today, changed the code so tracks are split into Header, LMap, HMap, Objects, Pits, Checkpoints, Pit Limiters, AI Line, Pit AI Line, Track Info, Track Records, Ghost Lap and Checksum. Pretty much need to keep working on the save function, further backwards compatibility and how the data refreshes and I might be able to start the actual editing. :goal: Small steps.

Got bored while I was working on some GR stuff so took this screenshot and went a little nuts in the GIMP.

I stumbled upon some Photoshop tutorials on the net. I applied it on some of my GR screens and this is what happened...

Plus, I made a safe driving campaign just for fun. I might upload the bigger version of it but here's the forum-friendly version. I know that mock ad isn't an eye-candy but...
