I know from Ivo, that we had in the night some problems, while accessing the forum. You've been redirected to mybookface.net, and some of you did also think that the forum was hijacked. Well, that's definitely false.

http://byet.net/showthread.php?t=10393 and http://www.vbteam.info/general-discussi ... kface.html - please read both links, to learn more from this "little" mistake. ;)

Cheers,
DXTR

Frankly speaking, I've learnt nothing from that links. Will it repeat? That mybookface is dirty place with porn avatars and I don't think anyone want to see those pages again.

Man can make mistakes. I think that's the case here too... So much I know the DNS of the site in question wasn't correct, that's why other sites hosted on this server-family (byethost.com) had the same problem yesterday in the night. But it looks like this failure is once only (or let's hope it so ^^), so you may use the forum just like usual. :P

Something happened again? About one hour ago I was redirected to ifastnet.com when I tried to enter here.

EDIT: And later on I was redirected to mybookface :eyes:

We finally received some feedback from hosting support, it looks, that we have problems to stay in Daily CPU Limits during weekend days and the redirecting is as punishment for it. As DXTR and me were not very careful on CPU during setting of the forum, I believe, that we can make some remarkable reductions of CPU usage, however it'll make the forum less comfortable for some users - guests. But it's only temporal solution, paid service (or another valuable option, which we have by Crono) will have to be used quite soon as our forum grows by number of users. With this point DXTR and me wait on some feedback from J. Burgess about ETAs of new project, because we don't want to make some serious change, if he would come three days later with news, that new official forum is done and we can move. In this case any change for paid service (paid by us 2) would be throwing money from window, for second option would be impolite to make additional troubles to Crono. However a decision must be done quite soon and you'll get more info in right time, guys, because the redirecting is very uncomfortable for us. :down:

It would be no trouble for me. I have enough ressources left and i would only need 15 minutes to prepare some things and settings. :) And there are no limitations like on this freehoster 8-)

I propose you switch to http://www.zymic.com/free-web-hosting/ and that you put a redirection page on this s**t of server :viking: Here's the code anyway...

Code: Select all

<!-- <div class="block01"></div> -->
<!DOCTYPE html PUBLIC "-//W3C//DTD XHTML 5.0 Strict//EN" "http://www.w3.org/TR/xhtml1/DTD/xhtml1-strict.dtd is -//W3C//DTD XHTML 1.0 Strict//EN">
<html xmlns="http://www.w3.org/1999/xhtml" xml:lang="en" >
	<head>
		<meta http-equiv="Content-Type" content="text/html; charset=UTF-8" />
		<title>GRRacers ReDirect</title>
	</head>
	<body>
		<a href="Click on this link to acess new GRRacers Forum's server"
	</body>
</html>

you should close the <a correctly and add a Adress to href ;)

Code: Select all

<!-- <div class="block01"></div> -->
<!DOCTYPE html PUBLIC "-//W3C//DTD XHTML 5.0 Strict//EN" "http://www.w3.org/TR/xhtml1/DTD/xhtml1-strict.dtd is -//W3C//DTD XHTML 1.0 Strict//EN">
<html xmlns="http://www.w3.org/1999/xhtml" xml:lang="en" >
   <head>
      <meta http-equiv="Content-Type" content="text/html; charset=UTF-8" />
      <title>GRRacers ReDirect</title>
   </head>
   <body>
      <a href="http://www.gene-rally.com">Click on this link to acess new GRRacers Forum's server</a>
   </body>
</html>

Surely this thread can now be locked as the issue is fixed?
