With the same direction, in this way you could try building speedskate circuits. :bg:

The speedskate circuit is I think a good Idea, but I will keep opposite direction for the two drivers

I doubt anyone remembers this track from my R5Turbo2 days, but here is a remake-in-progress... only LMAP changes so far and even those are very early.

That's the one thing I haven't yet tested, because the pitlane is the one thing I am highly likely to tinker with.

And I don't know why, but I just saw that this track is counterclockwise, I would drive in the other direction

I started small (ws 110) circuit. What do you think? I don't know how to make walls, if use concrete everywhere or fence somewhere. What would you say? (btw that concrete wall in the middle of road won't stay there :D)

@ Dan: Looks good, though I considerably dislike the appearing sky on the bottom of the screen.

About the walls, I think you could go even without any walls on the bottom, if you add there trees/bushes/etc., as it's a straight part. Adds a more natural and 'real' feel (considering this is not a Tilkedrome-ish hypermodern circuit :D)

Concrete walls by all the main straight don't look too bad, it could work as a bit stadionish :)

Hmm,.. track looks so great. Just don't cover it fully with concrete walls.
Don't remember to cover pit lane with concrete walls or booth or both. Light near to pit stands look so weird. Otherwise its a nice track.. :bg:

do not worry, this is not final PoV, I will have to change it because it hides part of track ;).
I'll think about what you said about the walls thanks.

Though I don't understand what you meant by covering pitlane :D.

@ Luke: You should make the pit lane a bit wider, now it looks really narrow and since it's pretty long there is a risk of hitting the wall when driving.

Also, why so tight pit exit? It would easily be neater :D

And yes, it does now work as a pitlane (it will work even better with some AI tweaks).

That can easily be tweaked. I've added some potential alternate layouts into the track, I'll show that picture tomorrow at some point.

Yeah, Luke, you've changed direction, but that should also mean changes in runoffs, which is still the same as previously. For example, at turn 2-3-4's exit, cars will tend to move on outer line, so that you need there place, or kerb at least. Same will be at turn 6, 8-9, 10 and 12.

I'm more looking to reduce run-off than increase it, and it will particularly change at the bottom hairpin (where a new track section is planned anyway)

Sorry for delay but I must tell you that I don't like too many 90 angle corners. Pits don't have to be so sharp. Make them more tortous. The whole track is good.

And those catuses and trees should be placed less systematicly, and try to rotate catuses as well ;).

:shy: A few little tweaks here and there. None of these alternate layout sections will definitely be in the final version, they're just proposals and can be removed if no-one likes them :rofl:

I only like the little rallycross short cut..., and I will change the position of the road cone, at the begining and not at the end of this gravel part.

And I didn't saw it before, but you have an dangerous run off on the top right of the circuit, near the booth, they walls are here designed for the other direction.

The walls in middle (going to the stand in middle) aren't well shaped (neither nice nor very logical IMHO), try to think about bit other placing, please.
