Mini Track Remix

This idea was originally used by Darjo and TGF so now comes new one (I was searching for this thread but I found nothing)
I have one old WIP layout which I decided to drop here. It is really small, WS110 . I hope someone is still interested in this thing .

I recomend this to all beginners because this is good practice in trackmaking. But others can take part too

Mini Remix vol.8 (I think, but numbers are not so important )

You can change whatever you want. But please keep the WS, layout, grid position (but not grid itself) and clock-wise direction . You can change everything else . Be creative, original and use your imagination!

Done as requested (and as was custom in past of this project), just times of posts little bit messed it.

Actually I also wanted to release the track outside of this competition, or is that not allowed?

Here in the project topic the project leader has it on hand to moderate it all and other users don't need to do any research for project releases too. And then we don't need 3-5-7 new topics for each new entry track - each based on same layout for the project's round. Sorry for inconvenience, alonsomania.

I had made a thread about this... a while ago now.

But It never went anywhere, It's nice to see Dan starting it up though. The only 'thing' i ever worked with was the Mini Track Remix. I may have to join in this soon

I've been thinking... not much, but thinking none-the-less

I know it goes against, if anything the main rule of the Mini Track Remix, but would it possible, seeing as it afterall only a bit of fun, to increase the world size, only enough to allow the track to become fullscreen, If you want to. Because hypothetically the track would still be the same once zoomed back in enough.

Seeing as there is that default 'map' where it is sectioned into a fullscreen track it would be easy enough to do? Or would it?


I just have a 'thing' for not having the borders and sky affecting the track.

Is it possible to do? As I have not found a way to change the actual track straight into a larger world size, only objects via the default track editor.
And things Paint ends up destroying the track if you manually move it

I think that it´s possible to do it with track transformer using tool zoom (out)
but is it really necessary?

EDIT: Good job JWong, road circuit is good idea but those road marks whould be better shorter

I got a question: Am I allowed to change the layout a bit? I mean making one corner larger and the other smaller. or maybe also making the last corner not 180 degrees, but 90 degrees, short straight and another 90 degrees corner?

Ok. But do we have to take your track and do our textures on it, like alonsomania did it, or is it also allowed to make e.g a path in gimp to get the layout? Or maybe do it yourself in SD? or send me the SD track
