[rwl] [cir] Mid Ohio Sports Car Course

Post by Bouncebackability »

Hi

Another US track from me, although a circuit this time.

I hope you enjoy the hmap, i tried to pick up on all the undulations i could without making the cars get airborne. Also I know there was a good version by Jimmy with the chicane version raceable, so sorry, i wanted the Indycar layout to look right, i tried to fit it in, i did :hide:

Theres 4 versions, two with alternative kerbs (K), because the red/white and yellow ones aren't the nicest looking, but are the realistic ones, and two with alternative start positions after turn 2 (S) like in a majority of races at the circuit.

Enjoy, Comments welcome

Cheers, BBA!

ps, i used v 1.10b

Lovely!
Good track indeed. :D
The AE86 is undoubtedly the best drift car ever. If for nothing else, for its longevity.

I like more the version with yellow kerbs. :D

BTW maybe the famous bump is bit too sheer on inside of the previous curve. I sometimes jump there even afer enterng the place in low speed. :)

Only con is for me not realized layout alternations like you mentioned. Otherwise top job. :bg:

Do you mean the side by side rather than staggered? Its just more typical in America, so that's what i went for, but it's easy enough to change

I forgot to mention, how I admire the AI line, it was surely very tricky to force AIs to drive well on this extreme hmap. And they are almost flawless. :bg:

Great track again BBA! My interest in rwl tracks is rising after a loooooong time, partly because of your (good) tracks. I'm very surprised :D
Drives pretty well, too. Haven't tested with AIs yet, though.

This is a pretty good version of the track. I live about 10 minutes from the track so its cool to see it being done.

Everything has been said about the track: a good replication of Mid-Ohio. Great job, BBA, however I would still like to have an alternate version with the chicane. :D
