Joint Effort Tree - a slightly different Joint Effort

Oh man, that square doesn't say anything to me. I don't entirely know what prop and wall layouts belong in a formula track.

I'll see what I can do though.

Don't worry too much, I have no idea how a racetrack should be constructed, just let your imagination go wild. ;) And who said it has to be a formula track?

One question. How do you know/find out our email addresses when sending us the track?
Look to the left ----------------> that's to the right, mate :(

Just wanted to say, that this is indeed a very nice idea. It's going to be interesting to see how the tracks differ from each other, especially if the FTs are done by a different person than the beginning square. Let's hope this way of JEing keeps on going for as long as the original JE did (and does)

stage3: Michkov, Dan Hakulín, Martyn, Cristiano Bohessef
stage4: Mr.J, Areen, Alex, preetzertrain, AleksiNir, OlafK, maxi17, Alonsomania
Reserves: Paw, S. Manzur, Bouncebackability, Speedy47, mplume, Buka

I very much look forward to seeing what's going to happen here, it surely looks interesting. :yummy:

Btw, what about renaming the thread to maybe "Joint Effort Tree - a slightly different Joint Effort" or something like that, more informative?

this is going to be the best named track project

JETPack #1 will be groundbreaking
Hannu, who art in Finland, Räbinä be thy name. Sim racers come, races are won, at Agari, as at Xupong. Give us this day our version 1.06, and forgive us all our impatience, as we race those who challenge against us. Lead us not into boredom, but deliver us from work. For thine is the GeneRally, and the AI, and the race cars. Amen!

Seriously though, this is the best idea someone has ever come up with for trackmaking. I'm surprised noone has ever thought of this.

@TuomoH: I was thinking of renaming it after we get the first project under the roof, but now is fine too. :)

This project is just an evolution of the original Joint Effort, which really was a huge leap in trackmaking. So I don't think it's fair to call JET the best idea ever, it's just a further developed concept, that has deep roots in the original JE. :geek:

Today is the 4th day of current production stage, so I would very much like to see the squares finished, please. :| I'm still missing squares from 2 people (you know who you are).

If you cannot make it today, please say so and I'm willing to give you another day, but if you cross the deadline any more than that, then I'll have to give your squares to 2 other people. :ashamed:

On the other hand, the 2 squares I have recieved are great! :goodvibes:

Of course. :bg:

But for future projects, should there be more time allowed for one square? I want to see the best compromise between time really needed for a square and that extra time that is wasted because "I'll do it tomorrow". :d&a:

I cant wait to see what will come out of this :goodvibes:

BTW, who will choose the name of the tracks?

How about a combination of (lets say first 2) letters of the authors who took part of the project?
one tracks could be named like eg-ac-mi-ar (EgACMiAr, egacmiar)
another one could be: eg-xy-ma-ol
and so on...

just an idea
