Real Life Track Request List

Post by CaLu »

Perhaps it is an idea to reinstate the Real Life Track Request List, as it was on the original section of GeneRally on the RSC forums.

For some short background on the original topic: It was an idea of me and former RSC-member Tjeerd to put up a request list for realistic tracks to be created for GeneRally. At that forum - I think - it has shown it potency, by both requesting circuits on one hand and the creating of realistic circuits on the other.

Besides requesting the tracks it would also be convenient that the requester helps in searching for info / screenshots (or even a link) from the circuit who he / she's requesting.

To get to the point where it's all about:

BBA before the shut-down of the RSC-forums, you're doing some parts of the STCC calendar. For the upcoming 2010 season Jyllandsringen has been confirmed as one of the circuits where shall be driven on.

See http://www.jyllands-ringen.dk/default.asp?id=2044 for lay-out and scenery of this track.

Hi, CaLu. Good to see you here.

And my request is - Miachkovo in Russia. Yeah, I had an attempt of it, but it looks very outdated now.
This is how the track looks like

Does anyone have any idea how to improve Gabor Kozma's or Halama's Sakhir (or make new version of it) in accordance with new layout that will being used in next F1 season? Here is the track plan and description:

Anyone got all F1 season 2010 tracks?
Well, to be honest, I need only Sepang and Shanghai. And if someone has done the South-Korean GP.

Thanks in advance, Resident. :bg:

Please don't share links to content, which includes piracy like the amateur editation of Gabor Kozma's Bahrain in the pack. :really:

Excuse my :bump: , but can someone please model the Miramar Speed Circuit, scaled appropriately for go-carts?
Homepage: http://www.miramarspeedcircuit.com/index.php
Track info and layout: http://www.miramarspeedcircuit.com/track_info.php

In my own experience, the track is relatively irregular (jarring; slippery at a lot of points due to track sealant), and the track width is approximately 2.5 cart widths at its widest point (near the pits) and 2 cart widths otherwise, AFAIK.

Thanks! :drive:

On ToM site, Albert Park is available by Gábor Kozma, Spykee and I think also by Maciej. Have your choice there. ^^

But I have a problem becouse I can't find Alber Park Circuit here. Maybye it was in one of contests, but there are too much to see them all. Is there any other way to find it? (Google don't find if I search: "site:tom.gene-rally.com Albert)

Here is the list of all real world tracks ever made. If you're looking for a track, that topic redirect you to proper ToM election. In this case, it's April 2005 (Gabor Kozma's version) or June 2009 (by Spykee).

I think most people name their Albert Parks as Melbourne.

As the Balatonring has been cancelled from the current MotoGP calendar, due to nog getting the circuit finished in time. I'd like to request it's replacement Motorland Aragon in Spain.

The site is in Spanish though.

You can just hope, that a trackmaker likes/will like the track and start to work on it once. Obviously no one of them will say publicly, that he works on it, so maybe once you'll be surprised by finding it Previews & Ideas or even released, but that's all that you can wait for now. ;)
