:bump:
Is anyone working on... no, scratch that, has anyone heard of the Lippo Vilage Circuit? It's originally for A1GP. Part temporary, part permanent. (believe it or not it's a Tilkedrome, but a good one) Apparently they cancelled (rather than postpone) the race because it's not finished yet when the FIA wants to homologate it.
I'm so pissed when they announced the cancellation... :kickcan: isn't it obvious? anyway, I was at the location last December. IMO it's the "greenest" street circuit EVAR.
I heard that Superleague Formula is seriously considering to go there.

I totaly wanna see the new Sao Paulo Indy Track too.

There are a lot of tracks from North- America missing in a decent version.

A new better St. Petersburg (Florida) would be also great.

And also a Montreal, all versions up to date have major flaws...

Well, and of course some ovals, but I guess oval GR is kinda dead... ;-(

XYY, I'd love it if you would create a version Nashville. Then I can finally complete one part of the IRL seasons I'm heading through.

Please go for it.

NASCAR schedule

Post by dead14vii1640 »

Yesterday, I noticed that I don't have the full NASCAR schedule on my tracks folder but, anyway, I sent a NAGrAR pack with 16 tracks to Neoliot and Miiqs.

I need the following tracks:
· Auto club (aka California or Fontana): I'd be interested in the infield section also.
· Gateway: egg-shaped oval with different bankings. In my opinion, it's something like a mini-Darlington or a mini-Pocono.
· Iowa: just like Richmond but a little bit longer. Maybe you can make it just using MdP's Richmond and changing the WS. :flip:
· Kentucky: very similar to Kansas but different in some little things.
· Las Vegas: oh, c'mon!!! Why nobody did that??
· Michigan: as big and wide as Auto club, very similar.
· Memphis: Though it's as long as Richmond it's VERY different (pits, banking... everything).
· Nashville: another concrete monster, it has a very low banking and grip so it's pretty challenging. I'm interested in the twisty infield section that can be found in ToCA race driver 3.
· O'reilly raceway park (aka IRP): it's very short and it's not used for the Cup series but it can be interesting.
· Pocono: no decent version has been made till now.
· Texas: if you don't make that, Chuck Norris will be VERY annoyed. :compko: :stretcher:

That's all folks!!!

:(

I think that people dont really like to make ovals for GR as they dont differ all that much from one another (that isnt a anti-nascar comment btw, i love nascar, and know that each oval is different from the next)

edit: and Kory miller made a nice Gateway imo

Do I have to guess that you made one Pocono some time ago?? Can you send it to me (maybe I just missed it while checking ALL the ToM packs)??

Please, also send me Gateway (or say in which month it is) and I'll give you my opinion.

XXY, there's a version made of Gateway if I'm correct.
I shall send it to you by PM later today, if that's okay with you.

A couple of things

Post by dead14vii1640 »

1st: THEY ARE IN ToM BUT NOT IN THEIR PACK
Thanks to some kind of error (or a bad uploading system), we don't have Las Vegas motor speedway, Durban A1Gp street circuit and Autopolis international racecourse (each of them only receieved one vote in December '05). My question is, does anybody have them?? I'm looking specially forwards to LVMS, Durban had some kind of crazy hairpin (like San Jose in ChampCar) and, well, Autopolis is just another Japanese raceway...

2nd: SPANISH RACETRACKS
You only have about 10 permanent racetracks in the G-tracks section though there are about 16 (and I don't count karting tracks!!!).
Why does nobody ever make a Montjuich?? It was voted one of the 10 best tracks ever during the 50th anniversary of the FIA F1 World championship.

3rd: GOOGLE EARTH PACK
Tracks locations included are:
· Auto club speedway
· Gateway raceway (request filled thanks to Calu)
· Iowa speedway (you have to change the time to 2007 or so 'cause Google earth shows a version of the map where the track was not builded  )
· Las Vegas motor speedway (a version was made by Kory Miller but I cannot get it)
· Memphis motorsports park
· Michigan speedway
· O'reiily raceway park (Indianapolis raceway park for those who hate tracks named after commercial brands)
· Texas motor speedway

The "very special of my own" is just a track around my town, about 3 miles long. All the sections are, at least, 2 lanes wide and there're about 45m between the highest and lowest point of the track so there are some nice hills. I know it's kinda stupid request 'cause the track is, right now, fictional but I just found it curious enough to show it to everyone.

ToM pack in past never consisted the tracks with only two or less votes in election (now one vote are not included too AFAIK) - based on principle that ToM pack includes only best tracks of the month, not all tracks of the month. Now we can say only, that it is pity, because the tracks with even only 1 vote were very good, especially in time 2006-2008. :(

If you know, that a track was made, ask in another topic, This is place for requesting tracks, which were never made in GR. :really:

I agree, Montjuich would worth, I dream, that Maciej1 will make one once. :yummy:

It most certainly is. You only need to delete my records (or beat them ofcourse) as I didn't removed them.

If anyone can help supply some details, I'll happily make Montjuïc Circuit. I had a basic layout of it from a year ago, so it will definitely work. I just have no idea about the scenery, especially since it has changed a fair bit cause of the Olympics in 1992.
