Updated to 2011 version

:band: Proudly presenting: My first real Formula 1 racing circuit :band:

I wanted to build a balanced track with a mix of high speed straights & turns as well as small curves where my Formula 2010 cars (http://www.gene-rally.com/viewtopic.php?f=7&t=617) are at the height of their values and where it is a challenge to fight and re-fight on the positions with the AIs.
I thought about reconstructing a real-life track but since we already have so many good real-life tracks I decided to do a fictional one that just has all the elements I like about racing. I really enjoyed making this track and hope you will too when you drive it. If you like it or there is anything to improve please let me know.

I have just tried your track and the racing experience is similar to your description: it is indeed a fast track, even the hairpins are fast because you can widen the track by driving on the run-off areas (AIs also use them). You can easily miss a checkpoint at the chicane - so be careful there! The track is fun, with all those high-speed turns!

Except for the run-off in the area of painted Stands, is a cool track, challenging.

I don't like hairpins, some here know it and this track makes me feel like I'd ban all hairpins from the world :D I'm exaggerating a bit but these are just too much hairpin-ish... Looks not good to me :shrug:
Also, the turns in the middle look like some mini hairpins. I suggest you cool make them smoother by going a bit more in the inside and a bit less in the outside...

Otherwise, it's good. Surroundings are cool :)

I think hairpins are tricky, here you are running at max speed an then need to hit the breaks at the right moment which is really a challenge. Btw you would not need to go the hairpin, you can make use of the runoff areas as mizza describes, makes racing the AI even more fun.
@ santana: do you mean the texture, i kinda like it but would be quick to change if i am the only one

To be honest:
Already the older version is actually one of my favourite GR-Track ever made. :hattip:
It simply has it all. Great layout, fun to drive, perfect amount of Lmap art. It simply brings out the best of GR.
