[cir] Cotland

Post by Arrow#17 »

Hi folks!!
After a fairly lengthy absence from the GR scene, i thought it high time i made a stop off and a little bit of a contribution to y'all. Seeing as its been a while, I decided to try a bit of a different style/look of track... Its a little bit retro, getting back to the GeneRally-ish styling, but cleaned up a touch.

With all that in mind, I present Cotland!
A slightly narrow and simple looking circuit nestled amongst some small cliff faces. Don't be fooled by its simple layout, this is a tricky little circuit when racing, with not much scope for overtaking and no real rest. Offline is bumpy and slow, the kerbs are knockout, and the AI is dynamite.

A little feed back would be appreciated, so comment and such... thanks!

I don't dislike a simple layout, and like it rather. The sand of escape zones are very nice, and as for "Sunk tyres" likewise very good.

But, one problem, 9 pit crews were buried half in the wall of the house, IMHO. :D

Anyway, I'll give you..

The simplicity of your track reminds me of Matty's style. :D I give you a 4/5. :)

It's pretty good :bg:, but I'd like to see once by you a design of layout for about 14-18 secs. with Formula. :yummy:

Nice, but you could zoom in a bit more, because i see some walls, and also, you could use dithering on the grass. It looks a bit empty on the pic.
Do you have/need useful GeneRally tips & tricks?
