you still can find my tracks (including Dijon-Prenois and Fiorano) on my old web site : http://jotb.free.fr.
Hi jotb, welcome back
Just the other day I was thinking of contacting you about restoring your tracks. It would be great if all your tracks could be restored here on the forum to keep everything under the "same roof". I know that BBA feels the same.

If you need any help/info about restoring, feel free to contact me any time :bg:

I have updated the G Tracks thread, sorry it doesn’t get done often enough.

I have also made a few small changes to some tracks, separating the historical, proposed and alternative layout versions, hopefully making it easier to find specific tracks.

Obviously some ‘red’ tracks may not have been sorted into these subcategories.

Great work :bg:

I have noticed that Surfers Paradise by Crowella is market red and after checking his restored tracks thread I found out that he actually re-uploaded it but forgot to include it in the track list in the first post.

You can find Surfers Paradise on the second half of his restored tracks.

The G-Tracks list needs to be updated.

Quite awkward to me that you put my rwl tracks on the list (Zeltweg and Beijing). I mean, people deserve better than... that. Even though, Kleinplasie should be added, because it's the least worse, and it is a rwl track, so... yeah, that's all

I have a question. Only asphalt tracks are able to be on the G-tracks list?
Example Glen's Mazan circuit is not on the list. But thats a (rwl) autocross track :) so thats why I'm asking.

Well I think we should create a seperate G-Tracks thread for RX and speedway tracks.

This is something I did consider. There has been an increase in the number of RWL rallycross tracks. Perhaps I should add them as a sepearate section in each country, or just include them but put [ral] or something next to it. What do you think?

both would be good. But I think a new section maybe a little bit would be better because rally/autocross and speesway are different kind of racing. But what about the tracks that have RX variants but basicly its a permanent circuit, like Kakucsring, or Mondello by Areen?

So there are pros and contras for each.

It's not always possible to make a clear difference (obviously), so I think it would be the best to put all the tracks in one category like it currently is. The other option would be to put tracks like Mondello in both of the categories, but then you maybe have to update both of these categories, if it changes!?
If you'd do that, BBA, I'd also support a seperation between speedways and road courses like suggested by Ivaneurope.

For me a good option would be to add at the bottom of each continents another point with a list of these routes, it would be more transparent.

I am supporting the former option, although I wouldn't mind if you were to seperate dirt tracks from tarmac circuits.

BTW, the following links of these circuits need to be fixed:

- Germany: Aalen-Elchingen by Bruno Asp
- UK: Abingdon by Bruno Asp
- UK: Aghadowey by Bruno Asp

Except for the Brazilian rwls, there are other works released by Bruno that haven't got a working link, but I'm too lazy to post all of those. :P

In the opening post it says that there is a link to the G-Tracks topic, but the link is 'broken'. This is because it still has the old domain name (gene-rally.com) instead of generally-racers.com.
It's not that big of a deal but it would be useful if it got fixed. :)
