Post [roa] Actra X
The village of Actra welcomes our guests for the 2012 summer season.

Beautiful Actra offers you

- a good relaxation on the hilltop where you can find an 18 hole golf course
- a visit to the lovely old town with its nice antiquity stores
- a guided tour to the old windmill and to the old port crane
- shopping in downtown where you can find the world's largest Kuckuksuhr

For arrival just park your car on the 24h parking terrace and get down through the cavern tunnel.

Take a day off to drive up and climb the hill to get a spectacular view of the old dam.

Since the old roads are very narrow we strongly advise you to use one of your good performing vehicles, for instance the Dodge viewtopic.php?f=7&t=2518 or your nice opentop oldtimer that will allow the full experience of Actra village and valley.

Please enjoy your stay,
Yours sincerely
G

It is the best track in last 30 days (for me). I hope that Maciej1 will make track and then this track and his will be fighting for the first place. Works in paint is awesome, fantastic, perfect, beautiful... A lot of details like golf course and other are fantastic. I think you should have title of GENERALLY TRACKMASTER too. When I was driving it was fun. I will nominate it write now

I'm a little disappointed that you changed the layout on the right side, i liked what you had before. However what you've done does make a good pitlane, and increases the average speed on what is a slow track. Also i don't like the lmap houses on the far left, they interfere with the border which make them look really odd.

But these are the only two things I'm not a fan of. The telephone wire scholl mentioned is a nice touch, and the lmap buildings in the front and top left are brilliant quality. The track is ok hotlapping, and unlike many other lmap tracks, doesnt have a boring 90 degree layout, but as expected far too narrow to race against any one else as there is no where wide enough to overtake.

Thank you very much for your support
@ cocney: Glad you like it, and thanks for helping in wip thread
@ scholl: Haha, yes with the dynamics of the hill the wires are a 100 trials until they end up in the right position... :sweatdrop:
@ bouncebackability: Thanks for your great help in the wip thread as well, hope you can get used to the new layout, actually driving the pitlane did cause a lot of collisions and I thought the race was also too long, I like it much better this way. I thought for a very nasty small corner those houses on the left side are really cool, I can only hope you will not notice the border during the race ;)
And about the narrowness: I actually started to like it, it is sort of special and with getting more and more used to the track you will indeed find a lot of opportunities for overtaking, e.g. on the way up to the dam and the dam itself, also in the corner near the restaurant where you can also shortcut over the walkway if you are too far behind. You will indeed need a good car though, I would not drive this with the General.

One of the, if not the most beatiful track I've ever seen. It brings me back to the crazy, innovative trackmaking methods I knew you for.

I noticed at the top of the dam; your use of armco barriers before a row of concrete walls to create the illusion of railings. That's a first, and is pretty clever.

Well ACM that is a great honor, thank you very much. It was probably a similar nightmare that you have gone through with your absolutely fantastic lombon track.

The top of the dam was a strike of luck, it only works with a combination that is settled in front of ice or real water that is painted with ice :D
