[roa] Whitchurch Festival

Post by Bouncebackability »

Hi!

This was an old WIP that I had on my computer, it just needed a few bits and pieces added to it to finish it. I wanted a track with a slow twisty section in the town that really opens out in the country side.

Not expecting a lot from this one, but comments welcome all the same

Cheers, BBA!

Actually, apart from the wide corners in the top it reminded me longford (raceway through a village, surrounded by sand, with a little river and two bridges) :P
However, you managed what you wanted to reach - a raceway with a tricky (especially becuase of the haybales ;) ) section and a fast section where you can test your car's top speed.
The lmap car in the bottom-right isn't perfect, the lights look a bit stupid :rainbow: Then I don't really know what the building in the left should be. A farm with a silo? :D And btw, why is the road corrupted after the building? To me this doesn't make sense :? Furthermore, the wire in the bottom right is not so nice, but that's because of the 512*512 lmap :D
I also don't think it's your best work but however, it's still a nice effort. 4,5/5 :bg:

Even if not perfectly, the track's look reminds me quite a bit of the old Spa, which is never a bad thing. I'll need to try driving it when it's not so late...
I like short, simple signatures!

Those festival flags above street look so lovely. :artist:

Only con I found is pit-crews placing, I'd like them less in track (there seems to be enough space bellow the layout to build the pits 10-20 px lower).

4,99/5 for this amazing road track.
