[ral] [ovl] Iveris Raceway

Post by Xstylez »

Hello, new guy here, bene tryign to get this game to work for a week, finally got it to work last night.

Made a track with the editor, I use a laptop so I can't be so precise with things, so if there's something you don't like, let me know so that I can improve.

The focus was to make a oval at first, but I thought to mix it up with a slightly bashing version of a dirt track!

Hope to be around a long time :D And I hope you enjoy this track!

Please put screenshot.
Good too see new guys trying to make tracks.
I remember that it is very hard to start but you will learn things. Take a look on Maciej1's, Tuomoh's, BBA's and other trackmakers tracks.

Don't place randomly checkpoints.
Leave some place in pits for passing.
Make better AI line because it is very hard to figure out where you need to drive.
Place walls better.
Use some other objects (trees, stands,...).
...

That's right, you should upload it by editing your first post. You can take screenshot with F11/12 key.

For more information check here: http://forum.gene-rally.com/viewtopic.php?f=6&t=7
It's described in points 4. and 5.

Sorry, I'll do that when I can, right now I'm using some dumb computer that won't let me do certain things, I'll get it fixed as soon as I can.

That will be deleted : Here, download the screenshoot if you can't make one and put it in your first

Otherwise I like your double-oval Idea.

It's an interesting idea but you need to fill up all the empty space with objects and roads to make it look better. It's OK for a beginner though.
Look to the left ----------------> that's to the right, mate :(
