This is place, were you can discuss with others your track ideas, ask for hints, advices or other help, if you're in trouble with something, post a preview of your Work-In-Progress or just tease others by some nice action pictures of your track before you're release it.
This is chronologically 2nd thread for this purpose, v1 can be found

Fist one to post here
Queensland Raceway is about to be released. I heard from some guys that the haybales in the infield are too overpowering, though I think this is the best possibility to make them. I could of course also reduce the amount of haybales, but then it would be further away from reality. What do you think about this?
And before you ask, yes, I will put there persons, cars and trucks too but at the very end!

A silly question XYY, but is that an rwl? if so, it looks pretty nice
Very neat looks but still seems drivable. There will be 3 different layouts, I see?

here you can find an aerial view of the track as in 2007 during a V8 Supercar race.
I thought about making four or five versions, all those mentioned in wiki article and maybe the national layout twice (once like during a V8 Supercar race, once like on a trackday). What do you think?

Have you got an idea how to improve on it? I think especially those around the lake are looking strange
But they are like that IRL too, I think. And I don't want to completely go away from the reality.

Completely without them, the track would look more empty.
If you are going to make all the 4 (or 5) versions that are shown on Wikipedia, you'd probably need to add some kerbs to the curve (see the pic) and reshape it a bit.

Ah very well then, just thought about adding something that would permit too much cutting as the S-bend is pretty tight

hey guy's, i'm trying to make a "paper boy" track, like this,

Does someone here know how to resize/turn the image for a good perspective ingame?
My idea is to enlarge the road to make a little oval track

Showroom looks good, but it's too high (compare doors and high of person).

I know, I saw it allready, I have to work on the wall high, reduce some details, because the world size is allready 25...
EDIT: OH!!! with the snake ditor, I can i think put the WS to 10!

2nd EDIT: Haha!! I found out how to make perfect 90° Hmap walls

Hows this for a teaser:
First decent track I made with the track editor that came with the game. It's about 95% done, seeing as how the AI needs a little bit of work. Other than that, whats everyone think?

It's not actually that hard, if you use either HMAP editor or draw it in paint.
