[cir] Perenne
Here's my newest track. I didn't want to make anything too complicated this time, so I ended up making a simplistic, sort of "generally-styled" track.
I hope you will like it
EDIT: The .ZIP has been reuploaded. Now it is including also a winter version of the track.

Thanks for the comment, Scorpion. Can you tell, what you don't like in these kerbs?

Re: [cir] Perenne
I think the kerbs could be smaller, now they are pretty wide and allow cutting turns a bit too much
You could also delete a few fir trees, they block the view.
Apart from those, a nice track

Thanks for the comment, Krisu.
Well, I have to admit that those kerbs indeed feel a bit wide. But I felt that the track itself is a bit narrow, so I thought that it would be better, if the kerbs are bit wide.
About those fir trees blocking the view, I like to make tracks so that there's something blocking the view little bit. IMO it makes the racing funnier, when you can't see your car all the time. But I understand that everyone doesn't like it

Re: [cir] Perenne
Only thing I dislike is that the fir trees inside the track. You could place other objects (or just leave it blanks) for much better look. Also it would be great if you had put some snow around the track. Coz fir trees and snow sound best!

Yes, of course. Curbs are too wideHJ wrote:Can you tell, what you don't like in these kerbs?

Thanks for the comment, C-DAC, and thanks for the answer, Scorpion
I had a thought about making also a winter version of this track last night. I might as well do that, since it shouldn't require too big effort, because this is a simple track. It will be ready late at tomorrow at the earliest.C-DAC wrote:Also it would be great if you had put some snow around the track. Coz fir trees and snow sound best!

Thanks for your comment, too, Rendy.
I just got the winter version ready. You can find it from the first post in the same .ZIP package with the original version.

Re: [cir] Perenne
That winter version is looking maybe better than original.
Kerbs are OK for me, maybe because I don't use narrow add-on cars very often, but wide default. But what IMHO doesn't look great, is the forest - it's all about same density everywhere in upper half. Also you can create very nice effect of natural fir forest by mixing of number of trees at same place (1-4 enough?), then some trees will look dense and some less. It's quite helpful against fir tree uniformity (especially in low angles), if you want keep the map/an area forested by this single tree type.

I also think that the winter version looks better than original, at least with Garbre's winter palette.
