[cir] [ovl] Zam Speedway

Post by J.J. »

This is my new track Zam Speedway.
The last track I made was 2 years ago...
This new one have 2 layouts : Oval and circuit in the infield.
I also made 2 versions of each track : one for 4:3 screens and another one for widescreens.
Comments are welcome :)

Have fun !! :bg:

Update (1.1) : Thank you for your comments ! I tried to improve the track thanks to your feedbacks. I removed some trees, tried to make the hmap more flat in the straights and moved the wall in the back straight. I also made adjustments on the AI line for the speedway version.

Nice, simplistic track it is for sure, I love its design. I hope I can check the track in action very soon!

Visually I think that 50% reduction of leaf trees in lines around track and road could be nicer, for driving I'd feel more comfortably with inside walls on back-straights not so close to track. If to mention hmap, in general I'm not keen on ovals with banking on straights as high as in turns, because it's illogical (banking on straight is not necessary to keep car's speed). Otherwise good job - reasonably working roval in quite small map isn't easy. And I'd not call a track with field textures, dithering or lmap cars to be simplistic, especially the SAFER in turns look great. :bg:
