[rwl] [stc] São Paulo Indy 300

Post by Bruno Asp »

Hello Everyone!

Since I posted the first version of São Paulo Indy 300 track sugestion, I decided to work in the real track. So, I did it and present it to you all.

I confess I missed a little practice with the objects during the track construction. So, I decided to "draw" them to make the trail closer to reality. I can say that the track is very similar, not only because I used Google Maps, to have an aerial view, but also because I am familiar with the city, which is where I live my whole life.

Well, since I am the author of the runway will not be saying what I think of it. I want to hear from you all! Hope you enjoy!

Information:
Sao Paulo Street Circuit, also knowed as "Circuito do Anhembi"
Its in the Sao Paulo City, Brasil
The track length is 4.160 km with 11 corners.
The long straight is about 1.5 km the speed will be about 300-310 km/h

The buildings are wonderful, even if the perspective is not always 100%. Pity, that the track have not more white lines otherwise its really cool. Very brave project. :bg:

Thank you very much for this one, as I know am able to race on another IndyCar Series Circuit.
Drive's fun. Had a couple of times that I damaged my car on the corner after the pits exit... Quitte annoying when racing.
But hey it is a part of it isn't it.

Greetz, CaLu.

Hi Everybody, thanks by the comments

Bouncebackability, I hope at least that one track can be fun for you! Than, its good to me.

Trigger Happy, its notice that is impossible to be 100% drawing with Paint Brush. As I don´t have time to learn to deal with another editting softs, wich works with bmp 16, I´ll have to improve myself in the next works. Sounds good that you like even than. About the red lines, it was the color choice for the track. In the real one, there were some small parts where the line was yellow. But to mix both didn´t seem nice. So, I chose de red one. Thanks by the considerations.

CaLu, you said exactly what I want to read: "Drive's fun". This is always my main objective! About the wall, I really thout about before to publish the track, than I decided just to put soft walls in the exact places where it was puted in the real track. In that corner thar you said, there weren´t. So, once again using your own words "But hey it is a part of it isn't it."

Thanks!

@argon: Please don't post to one month old or older threads as it only confuses other users, thank you.

As said, it does confuse other users and clutters the board, as demonstrated by YoNnie thinking it's a new track. It's against our rules so every time the rule is broken, we mention it. If it wasn't enforced, we might get posts to old threads all the time, obscuring the new releases which should be in focus.

Lets just say that my criticisms concerning your rules are numerous enough to maybe share with you via another way so as to not make this thread a bit of rule-technical mud-flinging-fest.
