Gravel, tarmac, snow. Whatever the surface, you'll find it here.

[tpk] [mic] [stc] Mi:Mi (Mission Mini)

Post by egamad »

I'm releasing this trackpack in the spirit of new version of GeneRally. It's called

Mi:Mi (Mission Mini)

This is a collection of 4 small tarmac tracks (WS 60-80), that are meant to be raced with smaller cars, like original Minis. Riddens Goll, being the smallest and most technical, has a poor AI line and is best used for time attack races or battles against human opponents. Other three are very fun against AI, especially, if you live "on the dark side" and like a good dose of chaos.

Included Tracks:
- Bronn Garnn
- Lebir
- Nassares
- Riddens Goll

I hope you will enjoy this pack. All comments are welcome!

;) hey Egamad ... it's funny to drive here ...
... since version 1.2 was released I'll try to put the removible cones ...I think these are very appropriate here and it's a rapid change...

Awesome tracks! I love the object placement, mostly at the stands in Lebir.
Do you have/need useful GeneRally tips & tricks?

Well...

Thanks for your comments, guys. :)

I thought about it too, but I quickly decided against it, as I was really happy with the pack as it is, and didn't want to go head first into new features without checking them out first.

Any other thoughts?

Let's see... As you may have noticed, I live on the dark side, I love abstract tracks and packs for Mini - I'm fairly sure I'll love this pack too, whenever I have the time to test it. :bg:

Amazing atmosphere, I remember fences from some stc (mostly GRB's), but here it really makes a difference with the plain tarmac everywhere.

Great fun.

It was a great challenge making the tracks not to appear dull with the lack of both lmap (except for Riddens Goll) and hmap, hence these object full, almost overcrowded tracks. I'm glad you find fences a good idea, Ivo, I had a hard time making the edges not to look empty. :bsmile:

BTW, I'm really curious of everyone's best times on Riddens Goll... it was in making for a really long time, but the basic layout hadn't changed since it's creation, and I probably raced a couple of thousands laps on it. If there was ever a track that I have really mastered, this is it. :shy: Now I'm pretty down-to-earth guy and I know my racing is far from great, so I'm not asking if, but for how much can you guys beat me? :P My personal best with general is 6.80. :misch:
