[ovl] Baker Hill Speedway

Post by Dragon »

Hi, I'm Dragon (xDragonx with a new nickname). Here's a new circuit.
Situated in an old unused circuit, it's a fast and simple track.
I hope you like it, comments and criticisms are welcome.

First, the track name is too long. You shouldn't use track names longer than 12 letters, naming it Baker Hill or something.

About the track, well it has nice flow but I'd have used some banking and put kerbs to last curve too.

I like it :bg: Reminds me the original USA, and you have filled the middle space nicely. Like Jarno Trulli's race engineer would say: Keep pushing!
And the story was whatever was the song what it was

Nice! It´s a really neat little oval, no mayor flaws and a lot fun to drive!

The only thing I´m wondering is that almost every fictional oval is clockwise...

Maybe they want to be 'exceptional' :P

What are those cars in your signature btw? Big Formula Fords :hammer:

Sorry can i just say that it ain't too long a name. No one complained about me calling my track Circuit de Yvelines Flins-Les-Mureaux (that is too long ;) )
No nominations for a whole year, then 2 come along at once!! Thanks guys :)

I don't mean the track has too long name but it's too long to used in game, GR doesn't show names with more than 12 letters properly..

I appreciate the solution of walling on external side of curves, very interesting. :bg:

It reminds me Formula Vees in the avatar, but it seems to have cooling holes on sides.

Looks very good and nice to drive but I don't like the fact that it's a pure oval: Always turning the same way... You could maybe have made some circuit in the inside and the outside of the track...

Very nice track, I really like good "ovals", but I'd preferred a little banking, kerbs in the last corner (like Quklis said), AND I'd liked it even more if it's been anti-clockwise. (But I can do that myself  ).
Great job anyway, thanks! :bg:
