Looks great, I like long racing circuits.

Does it mean it can't be used in any championship?

No, you CAN use in championships, you just cant make addons based on it, like using a part of this track to make another.

Thanks guys :D
BTW, you can clearly see that the track is not entirely based on the real track, it is hard to get enough material to make classic versions. I mostly based the track on the rFactor recreation (GPC79 Interlagos), and an aerial image from the 70s.

Alonsomania: i really will think about this turn... i saw that this turn may be better doing this way. :bg:

So guys, i will release a new version with the oval track soon, though i think it was never used in real life... well who cares about real life? This is Generally! :P

EDIT: Found a this from the 1980 GP, it may be more accurate. :bsmile:

The oval track was used in real :) Mainly for sportscar races, I believe. Was insanely fast!

Sure looks more like the 1972 thing, altough I have no idea if they changed that from somewhere between 72 and 79

It would be awesome if we could get an oval version (even though I don't know if it was used in real life?) :) Great track, 5/5

just one more thing to the new version (i did the oval :) )... the actual file name is weirding me... J.C.Pace '79 and J.C.Pace Ovl for the oval. i know, its not important, but if you are searching the track on GR, you will want to find Interlagos, and not José Carlos Pace right? i will put Interlagos79 and Interlagos-O... that stupid 12 character limit is very... well... stupid :P

Btw... i read an article about a driver that raced in the F-Ford by the early seventies, they raced on the 'oval' by that era. He mentioned that the actual lap record was from the Porsche 908/2 (Or 908/3, i dont remember, i made these cars for GR by the way), and he and his teammate were funded by nothing less than Sir Stirling Craufurd Moss :D
Interesting fact too, this driver (i will find his name later... he and his mate are Brazilian btw) revealed that the fact Moss was frustrated, because of almost winning the championship 7 times (Four 2nd places, and Three 3rd places), it seems this really bugs Moss.

I love this track! :bg: But I won't try 255 lap race on the full course, I guess. :-D

The hmap is flawless, the grass around very nice and also I wonder, if the lmap water was necessary.
