Hey guy's,

I spent the last 3 nights on that track, the main goal of the track was to make another booth jump like I did with Building Battle.
I hope you will like that frozen environment. Works well on 4:3 and 16:9

Not tested yet but I totally love the way it looks - great to have your unique ideas back here. :bg:

Thank you,

I just realized than i can make a track-pack with 3-4 different layouts. :)

Or would it loose its charm?

You do what you want but I almost never keep multiple layouts, just the one I think it's the most funny, which is most likely the one you've already come up with. :)

ok, that what i think to, this may be the original layout idea. it´s still the funniest and the hardest.

That's amazing, Glen! :-) That small places on edges or bits in inside, great joy to race between these cleverly made buildings, that's the difference what I talking about in topic of your clover track, well done! :bg:

BTW any recommended spacecraft or something like that for this track? :yummy:

I didn´t understand this, which edges?

I don´really know, your DTM cars are great! it´s also very tricky with the mac turbo. You can drive with the trucks, they are to high :)
happy412 wrote:How did You do such a great hmap?
For the track, I did only a banked curve and a small hill. For the object, I simply raised up or down the Hmap under the buildings :)

Track details, at the beginning, there where grass instead of snow/ice, I had the idea to put ice on the left of the pits, and i totaly loved than color, after that I deleted all the object who wasn´t white/black or blue (road cones, traffic signs) to keep this environment cold. i´m proud of it :D What to you think about that choose of color?

The places between edges of track and map itself. Not many free room remained there to do something, but you did and very well.

You can clearly see than the snow gived me a better environnement! :bg:

NOTE: during the FT's I mooved the starting grid. The start was in front of the jump (on the right between the 2 buildings)[/color]

I like it a lot, visually. It looks very coherent.

The only remark I have about the appearance is this: There should be more 'wall objects' added to the jump on the top right, on the side nearest to the track. Because of the incline, the wall object tends to go into the hill on the higher end, so that you get a jagged edge. Placing more wall objects there, largely overlapping each other, will give you a smoother result. It took me a while to get it to look nice on my track "Boatswain", and I guess I used a lot more wall objects than you might see, but I guess it's the only way to get this effect (and still it's not perfect).

Otherwise it's visually perfect!

In terms of driving, the pitlane wall sometimes gets in my way, but I guess that has a lot to do with my driving skills -- it's a straight section, after all.

strange, I thought I had done it allready, can you make a short illustration about what you exactly said, because i spend a little bit on that wall to

This is deliberate, 2 reasons :

- avoid guy to go in first pit, and to come back on the track.
- keep the difficulty of this double left :)

Here's a little screenshot.

It's very minor, of course, and certainly doesn't detract from the quality of the track.

Also forgot to add that I keep being surprised that cars pass under the pedestrian bridge after the finish flag. I initially expected to be driving over it, rather than under it, and I can't shake that feeling even now I know it's not so. :D
