Herbal: maybe you'll see more one or two stages by me, but i will wait a bit for other people stages,
I have the the 'Monte-Carlo' project ongoing, and BBA is working on Rally GB (I hope you still, BBA :P)

So, at the end, i think at least 8 unique stages are enough, as most real rallies have this amount of unique stages too... :)

Yes. I'm still working. I'm rookie in making rally tracks, so I'm terribly slow. And can someone help me with textures of broken asphalt? I don't know how to do it.

Use a pencil tool and draw lots of short, jagged lines (that look like cracks) using the dark tarmac on the light tarmac, then very lightly paint back over these lines with a spray paint of the light colour again.

Thanks BBA. And what if I use oil craps on dark tarmac?

Please comment.
PS. I don't know, how to do horse racing course (in middle of the fence)

maybe try google maps to see how the horse race course looks :).
It doesn't look bad :). Just a few tips: white lines should be just 1 px wide, try spraying the colors of the field on the field to break the texture a little, maybe the main road should be a bit more narrow, also the river in the bottom left is not so appealing so try to make it more narrow and the shore less repating :bg:. It's ok to work this slow, it's still just fine, no pressure :).
it's good that you do it carefully because that way you can learn a lot :)

Thanks for help with the horse race course. And I agree with you but don't agree with the main, that should be more narrow. If I do it, then will be a big space between main road and bridge. But that's only my view.

you can use two bridges to make it more narrow by creating somekind of sidewalk like here in bottom right ;)

FRUKIScze, great job you are doing! The broken tarmac texture is great... but i'm afraid that if you use 1 pixel wide lines on the roads they wont be on the centre of the road anymore... if this occurs, it can be fixed by reducing one side of the road by 1px,
Again, no pressure, do your best, and in the end herbal will fix what needed...

Hi all.
I need help. When I do double bridge, because I made main road more narrow, I have this bug. What's wrong?

My guess would be that the bridges are not completely aligned in terms of Hmap. Maybe you could align both "hills" to 90 degrees compared to the bridges giving them the exact Hmap base to stand on. I'm not sure if I have explained myself well...

LongBow is 100% right (just beat me to it) - the problem is indeed that the hmap isn't even on the all points of the bridge ends (there's a curve in the hmap which can be seen at least at the bottom right of the bridges).

The track is a bit too symmetrical, but I guess, I can work on it while making the FTs.

getting better and better. You need to just add some trees that aren't within the dense forest areas, they look too planned at the moment, but you're probably planning this anyway. Also make the edge of the field less sharp, so it blends into the grass more. Third point would be to add a reason why the road turns back on itself on the left, it was never just built like that because they felt like it.
