[kar] Valence La Roche de Glun (France)

Gravel, tarmac, snow. Whatever the surface, you'll find it here.

[kar] Valence La Roche de Glun (France)

Post by McBidouille »

Hey ho everybody,

It's been a whiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiile... :bsmile:

As I come back in Generally, I decided not to come without anythings in my hands.
So, here is a new real world track that I hope you'll appreciate.
It is a track where were disputed some karting world cups in the past.
Some things I did are quite different as in the real one, to have a good overall rendering.

Have fun!!! :bg:

I may not be a GR trackmaker expert, but this looks really good. I will download it, for sure.

Looks fantastic, but it's definitely too close to the edges of the map!

You have right but look on layout - it had to be difficult to contain it.
However track looks really good :)

Well, considering that several of the corners are different to the real track anyway, in terms of how tight they are, I think he certainly could've shrunk it fractionally. :)

Thanks for the feedbacks guys.

You're probably right Lukeno concerning the edges that are really close to the map edges.
Like said YoNnie, I kept the exact layout taken from google map and I would keep the driving feelings as real as I could.
So I had to use the biggest surface that I could get not to render a mini-track...
And that's why it take much place I agree. ;)

Just a quick note, kart tracks don't get the [rwl] tag:
Handbook for uploading of tracks wrote: [rwl] real world location (don't use the tag for: proposals of track, kart tracks, RC tracks and fictional tracks inspired by local roads)
Looks like a cool track. :) If I had the time, I would test it... :?
