[ral] Feoqtu Forest

Gravel, tarmac, snow. Whatever the surface, you'll find it here.

[ral] Feoqtu Forest

Post by SammieVL »

I made this in about four hours, had the "layout" on my pc since this morning.

Feoqtu is a quick, sharp and tricky rally course through a dense forest.
It's hard to get a good lap on here. It's narrow, cornering but this time, not that bumpy and jumpy.
A real challenge with lots & loads of fun!

(Yes, i copied this description straight from Feoq. The name is also just Feoq but with "tu" added, since it couldn't be just Feoq Two. But the track isn't the same!)
For some reason something went wrong with the picture of the track. Blame my internet.

I like the dittering on the forest track.
And using fences as tree-logs is a good idea. The whole scenery is pretty nice.

It´s just a little bit too narrow (IMO). And the Hmap is at some points too strong and not
really visible due to the Viewing Angle which makes driving a bit frustrating.

You meant the gravel section, right?

What gravel section? Also, i don't consider it narrow, i consider it a challenge. I also consider it playable.
And, actually it's partially inspired by Scholl's Japan tracks, they are VERY narrow. And still playable.

I tested the track and only confirm it, it was very frustrating experience, hay bale, fence, concrete post or a cone all over again.

Yes the forest-road section.
It´s too narrow if you test it for just a couple of laps. It takes a lot of time to get a lap without hitting anything.

It looks good to me. Simple and nice to drive, seriously, I see no problem.
