Hi, everyone.

Here I have a new track which I made last weekend, when I had a lot of free time without anything else to do. It's street track that is half driven on streets and half driven on a park, where the track goes on two purpose built parts and on a section of cycling road that goes alongside the river with the cycling road being widened on the part where the track goes on. The track has also reversed layout version and "no lines" versions of both normal and reversed layout.

The track name is a tribute to singer & guitarist Daevid Allen alias Divided Alien, who is the founder of great band Gong :)

I have put normal screen and wide screen version tracks into separate zips.

I hope that you like the track and also drop in some comments :)

Yes, with no clue about author I'd say Dragon actually. :) Very nice, great to drive (I prefer reverse v.). :bg:

From the screenshot it looks like an easy track, but in fact it's not very much! The right side of the track is so tricky that you'll curse the Ai for not letting you drive like you want to, and the corner next to the stand is the track's focalpoint (critical part). Although I rather like tracks that are more hilly it's not bad to race sometimes on a somewhat flat circuit.

The layout looks good and the landmap is done very well! I don't really like the dithering on the road, but that's just my opinion. What I do like is the small touches here and there! Like the diagonal lines on the grass and the pavement in the lower right corner. BTW is that a golf course in the upper left corner? ...and what's up with the word "gnome" under the water?
:o

All in all, the track is pretty neat, you can have a good time racing againts the Ai and I think the name was a good choice(sounds alright I think :bg: ). I think the reversed version is more interesting than the normal(I don't like the no lines version very much. :( )! Great work!

Thanks for the comments everyone :)

It's completely Dragon's fault that he makes so great street tracks that they subconsciously affect my street track making, even though I'm not deliberately trying to make a track look like it's made in his style

Yes, that's a golf course in upper left. And the word "gnome" comes from Gong's music.
At first I planned to name the track Gnome Park, but then decided to change it to Allen Park :)

Still, any other comments?

This track quite brings up memories of the St. Petersburg Indycar circuit. Or is it just me? :P

Thanks for your comment, too, Txizzle :)

I also noticed that the layout reminds St. Petersburg's track, although I was inspired by Montreal, Melbourne and Surfers Paradise, when I was working on the track.
